My first day working at the zoo is on Saturday! :D :D :D

Also I got a pair of jeans and a pair of khakis for $15 total at Kmart. I love the sales Kmart has when the seasons change. I'm heading back today or tomorrow when I have more time to scour the sales racks because I need khakis for the zoo and to date I own one pair of long khakis and one pair of capris. I just don't like khakis for most things because they get dirty so fast.

Jin comes home tomorrow. He's only home for 4 days and will probably be gone most of the time, but home none-the-less.

Jules that's fantastic!! Congrats!

I quit my job. It was costing me just about half my paycheck to get there and back every week, and a few other things I won't go into on the internet, but Yay! I'm also terrified as this means I am now a dog trainer full time, and my money depends less on showing up and more on the actual work I do.

But it also leaves me more time to work out, and do things that I actually want to do. So Yay!

Our local movie theater just announced that they will have "Jaws" the first weekend in October as part of their "Classic Horror" series. I love that movie and, ancient as I am, was too young to have seen it in theaters when it first came out.

The place is great. The current owners purchased it in 2004 and restored it to it's 1920's atmosphere, with the marble arch, pipe organ, curtains that open and close, etc. They recently upgraded to all digital projection, too, so we get current movies as well as restored classics. All for $5 a head. $3 for matinee shows. Some special engagements are $10 (like their silent film series - includes the live organist).

A friend of mine just had her assistant quit so they are looking to hire somebody... it pays exactly the same as what I make here, so it's not a move up, but it's NOT HERE. And she said she thinks I would be perfect for it.
So I'm applying.

The hours are 7:30-4:30pm though, and it's across town, so... bye bye more of my sleep... oh well.

My employment review is on Friday. The bosses and I are going out for Indian food.

Given my brief discussion with them on Sunday, I am very convinced that this will involve a promotion. A big one. With focus on the very things I want to pursue as a career.

Fingers crossed. :D

My friend just called to tell me her boss wants to interview me. She talked me up to him and I'm going over there tomorrow after work to interview.
I'm so, so hopeful this will pan out.

Crossing my fingers for BOTH of you!!

My good thing is that I just posted Greta on craigslist - hopefully it'll help get her into her own home soon. The rescue is being annoyingly unhelpful with promoting her - as in they STILL haven't put her up on the website despite repeated requests. I decided to take matters into my own hands.

I'm getting a piano tomorrow! :D Yey! No more being piano-less. That is one thing I've really missed since being in my apartment. I can't just sit down and play.

Lots of job vibes sent to you guys!! **VIBES**

Oh and I got my first tip today! lol I just bathed this big lab and the owner left me a $12 tip and that made me really happy! I mostly walk or just do re-tail but I got to do some grooming today and that's exciting (and wet. lol)

Grape soda + vanilla schnapps = win. Ah, the things you experiment with when you don't have coke. Hahaha.

I've been organizing an office party for tomorrow and I'm hoping it goes well. Lord knows we need some serious morale boosts right now.

I may be at my new store location by the end of the month :)

Now I just need to call and get transcripts tomorrow as the next step towards college.

Cinnamon Dolce Frapp + 1 shot Vanilla + Caramel = Heaven.

Also McDonalds. And Jin is finally home after 5 days gone. Zander is being less spazzy today. Mostly good night.

Honestly, I think Payton has a pretty nice heel. He's just... a little frantic. Like in everything else he does. I told him "get in" and he almost killed me doing a leapy-butt-turn into my legs. But it's still a pretty nice heel... in my opinion anyway...

My 12 year old daughter made the decision and met with our Deacons tonight. She is getting Baptized on Sunday morning :)
