Tooth infection gone. Teeth are a bit sensitive, but that is to be expected I guess.

And head/chest cold is on it's way out! Little stuffy and congested today, but my voice is back (though not normal).

So yay for feeling better!

Zinga and Taboo are both in heat and they couldn't have had better timing if they tried!! Our regular shows are done for the season starting today, we have a three week break until school shows start. Couldn't have been more perfect! Only bummer was that I was planning on getting taboo spayed during our break but I guess that will have to wait.

That pretty much sums it up. Zinga has been off work since last week and she's ridiculously cuddly and needy right now. Taboo just came in yesterday, but she's much less amped up than normal.

Ottawa Pet Expo happened this weekend.

Oh man.

So many visitors, so many product sales, and so many compliments! The best was the people who assumed that more than one person was doing the art. When they found out it was just me, jaws dropped and my work ethic was heavily praised. Very very humbling and nice.

Lots of old friends and colleagues were there too. It's like a weird little Ottawa pet industry reunion, haha. Lots of fun and again, a lot of folks praising my success. So humbling.

JessLough was with me as usual, and as usual she rocked it. She handled all of my sales transactions (she is very good with money; I am not) which allowed me to keep chatting up customers. She also rocked the booth while I stepped away for breaks and helped me tear down last night in record time. So lucky to have her as a friend. :)

I have to do all of my inventory, sales records and cataloguing today, and I'm actually excited about it. Super successful weekend. I am warm and fuzzy.

1. SNOW
2. I called the store and inquired about third party emailing me. Because I ultimately decided that this was the best way to confirm if they are hiring or it is a phishing scam. Thankfully, despite scummy third party sourced out of India, it is, in fact, real and I have an interview this week.
3. They asked what my minimum pay requirement was. I said over $9. They offered $10.50. Score.
4. Finished Shadows of Mordor. Might just play it again. Reasons.
5. Raspberry Brown Ale
6. Hot chocolate
7. Fuzzy socks.
8. Good Eats with Alton Brown on Netflix.

Oh. Stopped at a friend's house to help with a doggie fashion crisis and had an impromptu interview in her dining room in my pajamas.

I think I have a new job?

My new job pays pretty **** close to what I was making in doggie daycare, with the potential to earn more, and it's a hell of a lot closer, plus I like just about everyone that works there, and the one dude I don't like is probably going to quit. (Is it wrong that I hope he does?)

Dogs with Jobs is on Netflix!!!

Watching it with my SO, and he turns to me and says "this show is awesome". Yep, he's a keeper.

:D

I really, really hope this plays out. Not going to jinx myself (and this is not dog related), but...hopefully. Just hopefully.
