You are way too hard on yourself!

YOU ARE AWESOME. You get all the interviews and most of the jobs. You will nail this one and get offered it and live happily ever after :D.

I have a job interview tomorrow. It's at a company I'm really really interested in working for since they seem to focus a lot more in canine sports and fitness which is more my area of interest. Please cross your fingers for me. I'm so excited I have an interview.

If I get all the interviews and most of the jobs, why am I still here..? =/

Predictably, he asked for my salary requirements, so I sent it to him, and now he won't e-mail me back confirming a time for the interview.

My Critter Nation cage arrived yesterday! I set it up and started putting some stuff in it. Now I just need some more hammocks and cuddly things since my room/floor/attic doesn't have insulation yet because some parents never got to installing it >.> Which also means I'll have to indirectly aim my air conditioner in the cage's direction in the summer too.

Now I just need to find ratties. I emailed all the breeders I have access to. One isn't breeding for at least a couple years. Another website is vague and outdated. Another might be outdated but is more active (I think?) but hasn't gotten back in little over a week. There might still be some young'uns at the county SPCA but I'll probably also see if my PetSmart has babies to adopt out like they do sometimes.

I just came home with two young girlie rats! Bright eyed and bushy-tailed (well, figuratively speaking on the bushy tails...). Both very gentle and friendly.

One girl is a little Lilac Berkshire, the other I think is a Champagne Hooded. The lilac girl is outgoing and curious right off the bat, everywhere at once. The champagne girl is much more reserved about this whole new home thing though. I think she'll spend the first day hiding behind the litter box or in the igloo.

So excited to get to know them! But now I just need to come up with names...hmm...

I'm going to put this in the good news area, in hopes that it will become good news and not like all the other places I've tried... I have a technical groom tomorrow at a local grooming salon, I've been out of work for almost two months. We're broke, I'm bored, and because I'm pregnant and will be needing my maternity leave over the holidays, I'm unlikely to get hired anywhere. I was blunt with the owner of this salon last night and told her I was expecting and due January first, and wonder of wonders SHE DIDN'T CARE. She still invited me to do a technical tomorrow, and said if I was good it didn't matter that I would be gone over the holidays. I NEED this job. I've done so many interviews and so many technicals and just never heard back, and I know why. I wouldn't hire me right now either, but it still sucks. It's part time, which is fine, I just need something. So, if I could beg for some of those famous Chazzer vibes, I would be eternally grateful. If I have to sit at home another week, I'm going to lose my mind.

Vibes vibes vibes!

I'm scouring for some new work, too... so burned out of what I'm doing.

Here they are! I think I got their colors wrong, might be mink berkshire and beige broken-hooded, but eh close enough :p

I originally wanted a trio to complete the dynamic, so I just sent out a reply to a local ad where someone had an accidental litter. They have babies the age of my girls so after immersion is done here, I'd like to introduce a third post-quarantine if they have a female available.

They're gorgeous :) I always had females and loved how active they were. If Hugo wasn't HORRIBLE with small animals, I would probably have some now!

Barn is here. Big ordeal but it's here!

The cushings meds have finally made a difference in my mare! She does not look like she is on deaths door and she acts like she feels good! I hope it keeps up through winter.
