I would like to introduce my new dog breed web site that is currently in the works.

http://www.dog-breed-dictionary.com

It is nothing special, and I have to admit I have little to offer over the 500 pound Gorilla large corporation sites out there that have similar information, but I am genuinely passionate about animals, and felt compelled to start the site anyways.

I one day aspire to be a veterinarian, and I figured this might be a step in the right direction!

If it helps guide just one person in selecting the dog that will make them happy then it all would have been worthwhile.

The site is two months old, and I try to update it regularly although school does tend to get in the way.

I invite you to have a look inside!

Thank you for your time I really appreciate it!

Thanks guys.

I was starting to get depressed with how things were turning out. I've been trying to teach myself a little .css so that I can give it a more refined look, but that may have to be put off until next summer.

I'm doing the best I can, so I guess I should take comfort in that. I'm a little slow, so it takes me like 3 hours per a page ;/

Thank you all for your thoughts, I appreciate it.

Nice Start

Garret,

You have made a great start on the website. It looks great and it loads very fast which is awesome.

Keep up the great work and keep on chipping away at it.

I like your site so much, I am going to blog about your site later today.

Thank you very much hanslynch! I really appreciate it.

I was really starting to lose heart and the will to continue adding more pages. I have another 7 days until school starts, and I'll be sure to get as many pages done as possible!

What seperates successful sites from....

Garrett,

What truly seperates sites that are successful and make money for their owners are the folks that sitck with the plan and keep on adding or otherwise adding to their site on a regular basis.

It is hard especially when you put in tons and tons of effort with nothing to show for it.

It took me months of working on my site before I got my first sale and many more months before I started to get a steady stream of sales.

Today,

I have a very important update. The death of a friends beloved canine drove me to create an online dog memorial section where visitors can dedicate a page to their best friend.

They can remember them however they would like, via a story or poem. I have even added functionality for a picture. If you have video of your dog, you may also embed this too.

Dogs are important aspects of our lives. They deserve at least one full page of their own for the world to see. Just fill out the online form provided to you, and it is as easy, and good as done.
