I take offense to you demanding to see my feet.

I found the cable... in with the GameCube stuff. I only checked the Xbox and Nintendo 64 paraphernalia yesterday. Silly me.

We were only allowed to spend 15 minutes on each. Soo, here you go, Rumor's feet:

JPEG compression sucks. But her feet are still cute!

Your feet?I HAVE seen your feet. :p Well, in socks, but still. I wanted to see your drawings of the feet of the "Dobe" part of "RedHotDobe."

Caitlin.. I love your style... how in hell do you manage to get lines right like that? I especially like your use of hatching and cross-hatching... it really makes the picture.

Okay, now I'm jealous. :p

Jealous that my dog has such cute feet? :D

This was actually a really good exercise for me. I normally draw fairly slow, but the time limit really forced me to alter my drawing style. I've never utilized hatching and cross-hatching much before. I like how they turned out. Thanks for the compliments. :)

Well, they were well-deserved. And yes, I am jealous. She's got gorgeous paws and short toenails... bring that dremel over here sometime and show me what I should be doing, LOL!

Love the feet, RHD! :)

Here's a sketch of Millie. I'm really disappointed with the way it transferred onto the computer. It really looks much better in person.

I wish I could draw Vic.. I LOVE that grin. And the fluffy Aussie pants. Those would be fun to do in oil pastels or charcoal.

But I really can't start any other projects right now. REALLY can't. I have one I NEED to get done as soon as humanly possible, plus two others in the sketching-out stages that I really want to do but shouldn't because the other one needs to get done, and the oil pastel that was Jessie's SS present I want to finish. It's too much. Arrghghhghhh... plus art class... where I already have TWO projects... plus sketchbook stuff.... someone hit me if I mention wanting to draw something else, please.

Bleh, Nolu if I had done anything even worth photographing/scanning to share, I would've shared. LOL. It's kinda bad when you're not even good enough to be out of a slump yet, but I'm in a slumper's slump. I've stopped drawing for the time being, rofl!

GReat start! CAnt' wait to see the finish.

As to the human drawing, i generally do not give advice when it isn't asked for, but there are two things that i believe would be beneficial for you to try. FIrst, put a mirror in front of you and draw your face by plane only. draw each seperate plane, there are a possible 6 or more to the upper lip alone. ACross all the features. THat will improve anyone's understanding of anything dog, cat horse, human...it is a hard excercise but imo totally necessary. THe second is to watch your lighting. Take something and pretend it is the sun. Place it where you want your lighting to come from, and remember to check your source of illumintation when you are shading. THat is an easy solution to a very important element of your believability.

I spend so much time lurking in here it isn't funny.
I'm a pretty terrible drawer but I love it when one turns out properly. We'll be buying a scanner soon and I can find an old one I did of Buster I didn't mind.
I have to draw off photographs though, I can't go out of my head, I'd really like to have a go at this one. I figure its simple enough to get back into it.
I also know about this much |-| about art supplies so I need to put a boit of effort into learning some stuff about that
