Thanks a Lot Riley

I can barely walk today thanks to Riley enjoying himself at training yesterday:

For any of my protection training friends who think it's hard to "Be a post" I offer to lend you Riley for one session and you can go back to your dog thankful you do not have to do that again :rofl1: I consider myself fairly strong, I'm 5'9" and double Riley's weight but... yeah.... ouch.

He regularly pulls the helpers off their feet too, he has so much pulling force it's incredible.

And a few of Aura too!

This was actually the night before training but they had a lot of outdoors time due to the nice weather on Friday and I had the day off. The result at the end of the day was this:

Aura went and snuggled up to Riley - he was too tired to care. I almost died from the cuteness.

What if you posted with the lead wrapped behind your hips and got lower so that the force was absorbed more by your legs and core rather than arms, shoulders, and back? Or does he just pull you over in that position?

And having met him, I can totally picture how tiring it is, lol.

I have tried that a couple of times, and it doesn't really work for me, not sure why but I definitely need both hands out front, as well as both legs, and shoes with good grip! lol.

Omg the cuddling pictures are ADORABLE. <3 Sucks about your back though - Tipper (who is 22ish pounds) yanked me around so hard at the park one day that I swear I had whiplash. I can only imagine being pulled on by Riley!

Thanks all! My back is actually fine, it's just more that every single muscle in my body got a major workout and I am super stiff - It's the worst in my glutes
