Damnit know I have to check out Terra Nova?

*kicks rocks*
the premise is OUTSTANDING, but the execution fell short
basically the world of the 22d century accidentally discovers a way to send people ONE WAY back in time to about 20 million years before the cretaceous extinction event, so they begin colonizing the late cretaceous period.

Season one is now on the list.

season one is the ONLY season so far, fox dropped it and no one else has picked it up (although fans have tried to convince sci fi to pick it up).

I was excited for that series but my dad told me it really fell short of his expectations and so I never bothered to start it. Awesome idea, but like pops said, apparently it was poorly done. Shame, because it is certainly an intriguing storyline.

Yeah, Terra Nova was alright, but definitely could have been 100000x better.

In regards to the poll, for surviving the cretaceous colony, are we living in a Terra Nova colony or are we living "outside the gates"?

I was going to pick cretaceous colony until I read that last one.. lol

Terra Nova was one of those shows..I WANTED it to be amazing. I loved the idea of it, if there were books (not sure if there are) I would've read them! but it kind of fell short for me.

I think I'd rather deal with dinosaurs any day over zombies, disease, and insane people. Animals are predictable.... humans... not so much

Umm terra nova with the Dino's NOT the creepy before you enter the wormhole world.

No Zombie for me, people scare me enough not to mention those I can't reason with.

Dinosaurs. I'd rather be in a colony of other people who chose to go there and try to survive/build a new world than get stuck with whoever just happened to survive the zombie apocalypse in a world where everyone is infected and ready to turn when they die. Plus zombies... bleh.

Dude, can you imagine domesticating dinosaurs? That would be an epic project.

i know right. hunting w/ domesticated raptors or hunting raptors. plowing w/ some kind of ceratopian or ankylosaur. hauling logs w/ a stegasaur. gator fishing for 40 foot plus crocs & gators. deep sea fishing for ichthysaurs & mosasaurs. scrambled pterasaur eggs.

I can outrun and hide from Zombies. Even kill them.

Dinosaurs, not so much.

Cheesecake it is.
Ditto. Though I voted ZA. Cheesecake is BOMB though!

Dinos can run faster than me, swimmer faster than me, fly.. well faster than me cause I can't fly, climb faster than me, and they have HUGE teeth and claws. I couldn't get away from a dino because they can do so much.

ZA would be better. I can out run, climb, etc faster than them. And I can sit at the top of a tall building and shot them in the head with a rifle ;) Can't do that to a huge T Rex trying to eat your legs off lol.

Honestly, I have seriously thought WAY to much about dino vs zombies LOL
