I built Yarrow and Onyx a run in the woods, where they stay when I'm at work or just need to be contained etc. I feel a lot better about them being in there than being crated for long hours!

More baby goats born at my dad's place! Really cute little twins.

I just discovered a really nearby hike (like 5 min drive from our house), it's pretty quick and really nice - goes through a bunch of old growth and ends up at a beautiful lake.

I was thinking the same thing! It's like your every day is a gorgeous photo shoot for an outdoor gear catalog or something.

Baby goats are seriously the most amazing little creatures in the world. They were about a day old in those photos. I need to go take some more now that they are getting rowdy!

Haha, thank you! Of course nothing is perfect, but I'm pretty happy here that's for sure.

We had some awful mosquitoes earlier this year, mostly gone now thankfully, and it's wickedly dry this year too, so forest fires are a huge risk. My mom's house a few hours away nearly burnt down already, they were on evacuation alert for at least a week or so.

But mostly things are pretty wonderful.
