It's been a long time since I've really shared any pictures, so I thought I would while I have a spare moment tonight! Most of these are from our trip out to visit my grandparents a couple of weeks ago. I haven't pulled my camera out very much since May except for when we went away, so not really any new ones of the other three, but I'll have to work on that soon. :)

Sitting on my grandpa's boat waiting to attach it to the trailer. She went boating/fishing while we were out there and had a blast. She's so happy to do pretty much anything, even if it's something weird that she's never done before.

She's such a people suck. And so naturally good with kids, despite us not really knowing many so she's not around them much.

Taking advantage of the fact that dogs can play on playgrounds in their town! Here there are just prohibitive dog signs everywhere.

She desperately tried to get my aunt's dog to play with her. Pretty sure he had no idea what another dog even was haha. I kept having to tell her to leave the poor guy alone. He thought she was interesting, but was clueless about play.

Happy Spike. What a name haha.

Lots more!

It rained most of the time that we were there, but we did get one lake day and Journey swam! With her lifejacket, but still, progress haha. I took it off for a few minutes and her form is awful, so she and I felt better with it on.

Still more!

She hated her ears getting wet lol. But she didn't learn that if you shake while still swimming, you just get more wet.

While we were waiting for people to move so we could put the boat back on the trailer, I took Journey for some new portraits.

Then on our last day there we went back to visit my aunt and Spike again.

A cute kitten. Cause it's cute! Journey thought it was terrifying haha.

Still some more! This is what happens when I go a couple of months without posting pictures haha.

And that's it from our trip!

Yesterday and today Journey and I walked the rest of the way to work after getting off the train. It's a nice 45 minute walk from downtown in and a perfect start to the day.

I made her pose with a statue of a Buffalo (supposed to reflect the city/province's heritage).

And shortly after that area, there is a nice pathway and field along the river the rest of the way.

And after work, waiting for our bus. She's so sweet. I love how she leans on everything.

Random Keira and Dance from last night's walk...

Last week a friend and I went on a hike. Unfortunately it was cut short because of terrible flood damage (bridge was broken and giant trees were laying all over and around the river), but it was still lots of fun and super pretty. I love where I live. Next time I'll have to try harder for pictures, but it seems difficult to hike and take pictures lol. I was worried I'd drop my camera.

Anyway, that's all for now! Although I am sure that was plenty. I tried to narrow it down!

We also entered our first two conformation shows this summer. We didn't get anything either weekend, but it still went well and I had a good time. Journey did everything she was supposed to and also had fun. After our last show, Journ also had her first lesson on sheep which went super well and I am really looking forward to going back. That might just have to be my new thing. It's so neat and different to anything I've ever done before. She showed a lot of instinct and the instructor thinks we have lots of potential. A friend took pictures for me, but she's been really busy so I haven't gotten them yet. Next time maybe she can get some video for me too. :)

It's been way too long! Oh how I've missed your pictures. They're always so beautiful, and you have great action shots.

Journey is growing up and looks amazing. The photo of her running towards you on the shore with the ball in her mouth is amazing. I want it as a screensaver.

And the one with her and Dance on the rocks is fabulous, too.

I don't think Journey could get anymore gorgeous. All the pictures are amazing as well!

Every single time I see new pictures and hear more about Journey, I just get more and more excited for the moment when I'm finally able to get an Aussie.

Thank you so much! And I'd let you have that picture except it just happens to be one of the only ones that looks sharper smaller unfortunately. I was sad to see that when I uploaded it!

Tri-red and tricolors are my favorites!.
Yr girl is gorgeous and the Aussie is a breed,I'm seriously considering!.
Thanks!

She's my first Aussie experience but I can't say enough good things about her so far. She is an absolutely blast. Not sure how I feel about the term "heart dog", but that's the best way to describe her. I adore this little dog more than I ever thought possible.

What a gorgeous girl she's grown up to be :) beautiful photos as always.
Thank you!

Yes, I love her build so far. Apparently all the show people think she's too fine boned though. And not hairy enough haha. Granted, she is a bit out of coat, but I love how moderate she is bone and coat wise. It'll be interesting to see what she looks like once she's done filling out and maturing.

Hard to believe how quickly she's growing up...she looks so mature already! Sounds like she is have many fun adventures :)

Thanks! Yep, time has definitely flown by. She's all teenager now. Crazy that her birthday is a month from now already. It was this time last year I was gearing up for a Koolie puppy, which then turned into Journey, and it's hard to believe all of that waiting for a puppy happened and now it's just over haha. They grow up so fast.

And yeah, it's awesome. And so good for the dogs, too. Would be nice if all cities allowed dogs on their trains/buses.

Awesome, awesome pictures. She's so freaking stunning.

Thank you!

I love my province. It's so beautiful. Prairies on one side, mountains on the other, and super pretty rivers and lakes all around. Here are a couple of pictures my friend took from the top of the hill we hiked most of the way:

She is GORGEOUS. And it looks like such a great time!!! I love, love, love swimming pictures lol.
Thank you!!

It's definitely been a fun summer dog wise. Between the trip, and meeting some amazing new dog friends this year, it's been the best dog summer ever. :)

I just love your dogs! Journey is such a pretty girl and has grown up so nicely! Love your portrait pictures.
Thanks!

Haha. Isn't it? It's crazy. That's always the first thing people notice about her is her butt fluff. My Doberman breeder/friend always makes fun of her for it lol.

I can't wait to see those sheep pictures too! I hope she's able to process them soon.

Thanks! I hope your wait is well rewarded with a really nice Aussie when the timing is right for you. I am sure it will be!

She is amazingly gorgeous <3.
Thank you!

Any picture of Journey is just stunning (between her good looks and your great photography!) but that first photo of her on the bench literally melted my heart. So much like my childhood dog! I just love Journey.

The last photo of her and Dance is beautiful, too!!
