I'm planning to start jogging with my dog and would like some suggestions for running belts. I have been researching for it, and found one that I liked but don't have any experience with it. I will attach a picture of it and If you have any experience with it, your comments will be highly appreciated.

I use Ruffwear products. I have used them ever since I was a kid. But I have also heard that Canadog products are good, very reliable.

Can you please give me some information on Ruffwear? What did you like most/least about them? My dog likes to pull when he gets excited so I would need something that would be able to make both of us comfortable during our jogs.

Not Ruffwear (don't own any of their products) but I love my Howling Dog Alaska gear. I have a trekker belt, and it has great back support. I also have their tough skin harness and bungee line.

The downside to the belt, though- it does ride up sometimes. If that bothers you, I'd suggest a belt with leg loops.

Ooh, this would be super useful!

Is it a flexi type leash or a solid length leash?

I might be interested in this too, seems very useful. I hate the leash in my hands when I run with Leo. I am constantly transferring it from hand to hand, and it gets sweaty, and is just annoying.

Seconding the Canadog

The entire kit is a little more on the pricey side; but I really like the features it comes with.
There is a pocket on the side that's big enough to fit both my phone (Nexus 5 in a case) and keys without being too bulky. The thick lined back helps for maintaining better posture and has a water bottle holder. And it's just super comfortable.

There's lots of different rings to attach dogs to depending on where you prefer to have them, or for walking multiples.

The only thing I'm not 100% thrilled with is the size. I keep mine as tight as it goes and it still feels a little too loose on me (and I don't consider myself to be a supremely thin person at all).

Thank you for giving me all this info. I'm impressed with this product, I'll for sure check it out!
