Rocky will bring her food over from the bowl to her pillow and spit a whole bunch of dog food on the pillow and eat it one at a time. One time I was giving her some salmon and she spits the mouth full of dog food out all over the place. She just spit them out so far it was hilarious.

But she does have a strange eating habit, she will take her food to the pillow and eat it there.

Oh for sure they know how to entertain us. Jack will have a mouth full of food, bark and attack the bottom of the stove because she can see herself and choke on her food.

I had one that would go to his bowl, get a mouthful and dripple it to the front room where we were. THen go back and get another mouthful. THe pup followed right behind cleaning up all the crumbs.

ruby does the mouthfull take it to a pillow or bed (or across the room) and then eat it peice by peice.

Jasper will eat a few peices at the bowl and then the rest must be tossed about the room peice by peice before being eaten.

the wowies are 1 peice, cross the room eat it, go back for another kind of eaters.
its no wonder there so tiny lol

That is so cute, lol.

I thought my dogs were the only weirdos that did this. I find dog treats in my bed sometimes, lol. Rocky will take treats to the beds and eat them there.

King and Molly do this , but only with dry food, thankfully. My last dog would walk around with a cheek full of chewed up whatever, for a long long time, than spit it out and finally swallow it up. Whatever was insanely disgusting sometimes (Such as litterbox samples), but anything carried in a cheek for a couple of hours isn't pretty.

One of our dogs does this.
It's like the food tastes better that way because actually she's more "at risk" for losing it if it's not in her bowl.

Yeah, they do have some peculiar eating habits, as in Bruno's case if give him anything in his bowl, he would just not eat it but just change the bowl and he starts eating it. There are many others such peculiar habits he does have but this is something that he does quite often.

Robyn does it too. The only reason I haven't switched her to raw food. Vacuuming up stray kibble is one thing, hunting down raw chicken under the couch is quite another! :yikes:

Tiffany only eats on carpet. If her bowl is on wood or tile, she'll get a mouthful of food, bring it to the carpet, then drop it and eat it.

Rain will grab a mouthful. Spit it out in the living room. Eat all but one and then roll on that last one until another dog gets curious enough to come over and see what she's doing and then she'll eat it.

What's fun is occasionally it'll get stuck to her which leads to a comedy of her trying to figure out how to get to it before the other dog could possibly get to it.
