Our 15th wedding anniversary is fast approaching (not till January) and apparently, 15 is crystal.

Normally we don't do much (or anything) for our anniversary....we love each other every day and show it with gifts/special things when the feeling/opportunity strikes not just the date on the calendar. Upcoming will be 15, FIFTEEN sounds like a milestone so we are celebrating with a little 'umph' this time, LOL

We are planning on getting away for a couple nights hotel stay, go to the art museum, a nice dinner, etc. I thought it would be nice to go TOTALLY traditional on the gift, which is CRYSTAL. My son (the 17 y/o) is pushing for me to buy a fancy walking stick with some kind of crystal head on it. While that would be unique and fit the requirements, it just doesn't seem like something my husband would enjoy, LOL

Beyond a paper weight, I'm really at an end so I figured the awesomeness that is Chaz might be able to help! :D

He loves computers, star trek, pepsi, trains, and coins but your ideas don't need to include any of those, just giving some background to help anything that will spark your ideas!

Anniversary in 4 months, so I'd figure 3 months to shopping deadline to give time for shipping.........please include a link if at all possible! TIA for any help!

NEAT! Now why didn't I think of Quartz CRYSTAL movement? That's what I'm talking about.....chaz awesomeness! :D

Oh wow Tag! Those are really cool........though I do have to wonder if Kevin and I would look creepy inside one, LOL

Putting it on the possibility list though, he's just sentimentally creepy enough to want one on his desk :rofl1:

Does he drink Vodka? There is a Vodka out now that comes in a real crystal skull. I know skull sounds goth but it really is kinda neat!

I'm no help but iI thought you were asking about 'crystals for meth.'

ME TOO. And then I read the thread and I was wondering if he liked Breaking Bad, get him something BB themed ;).

Star Trek watch is cool. Or one of those crystal sculpture things?

He doesn't drink to speak of.....whiskey (jack and coke) once in a while but that's about it.

Surprisingly, he isn't a BB fan  WEIRDO! LOL, I was the fan

It makes me giggle that you guys think I would start a thread asking for crystal meth, rofl, and now I'm wondering if there are druggie forums out there! hahahaha

As for druggie forums, there are ;)

I was also thinking some kind of paperweight type thing...not necessarily photo stuff. I'm sure you could find crystal Star Trek paraphanelia.

I think a crystal gift doesn't have to be anything super fancy or nice, just a little token (and if you guys are doing real anniversary gifts you could get him another Not crystal gift)

I ran across one once looking for information on drug dogs. Someone was asking how to deaden a dog's sense of smell, and it devolved into a serious discussion of how to poison a drug dog using toxic powders. Talk about horrible slimy people. :madgo:

Acoop, you could get him a ton of candy.

Or if you want something really extravagant you could get him something like this.

I want both of these things. Mostly the candy but that skull is WICKED.

Milo, I was looking at some star trek crystal things....like a crystal version of the SS Enterprise, still haven't ruled it out. I think he'd like that on his desk at work :)

And WOW Romy! That crystal skull-geode is AWESOME! If I bought that, I think I'd want to keep it for myself :rofl1:

And Sally  LMAO....He'd probably like that gift, but I don't know if I could do it! hahaha

 OMG! hahahaha.........I don't think I'm brave enough for anything like that!

It only involves ripping out all your hair and then gluing sparkly things on your vulva. No big deal. :rofl1::rofl1:

The funny part was that the ex was here, saw my tabs open with 'vajazzle' searches (I wanted to see if I could find a 'happy anniversary' image - I failed) and freaked.

I may fake vajazzle myself just to freak him out the next time I see him.
