Who would be interested in a MEGA chaz meet up?

Like with camping and dog activities? I can rent the local fairgrounds-including buildings for not to much. We can have doggie games, agility, rally, lure coursing, earth dog etc etc. Even give out 'chazzy ribbons' if enough people came out to play.

There would be real washrooms and I think real showers. Camping is allowed on the grounds.

If this was planned wwaaayyy in advance who would be willing to come? Any of you Americans :D?

the cost for the event would go down based on # of people coming. Camping would be free.

Biggest cost would be travel costs.

I was thinking august of next year.

I'd definitely want to come! Want being key word; not sure how likely it is I'd be able to travel that far.
Incredibly good idea though! It would be so much fun.

Itd take me several days to get up there, and I'd need a passport, since I've never been over the border, and someone to tell me what to do when I get there, lol, but we have a ton of camping stuff, and I'd love to come!

I don't 'think' you need a passport if you are driving. I know you don't need one NOW, but not sure the plans for the future. They changed our drivers licenses in order to make them more passport like, I assume for crossing the border purposes.

Free camping is a big plus. August won't work. I work at a boarding kennel. There's no time off during the summer.

I mean, I can get a passport, my mother knows how to do it, so it isn't a big problem, but I'd rather go ahead and get one if I'll need it.

Also, I may end up flying in with the dogs instead. And I'd need to know what male dogs are coming, because if there are any Ozzys size that are going to challenge him or anything, I don't want to bring him and he'll have to stay at home...

Totally up for it!!

I'd love to take part in something like this, there are SO many chazzers I want to meet, I hope lots would be able to make it :)

Providing I have a car, I'd also be willing to travel if outside of Ontario works better.

Maybe some stateside Chazzers could get together and go up, save gas money...

I really hope it falls in a time where I can make it!

I think it sounds like a great time!

I know Puck and Sparks had tried to organize a giant meet-up last year that sort of fizzled out, but sparked all the regional meet-ups that have been arranged. Let's see if this goes any further!

I'm game if I'm still around !!! Depending on where in Ontario , I could meet up and drive and share expenses . I can take 4 dogs and 3 folks easily . I don't mind sleeping in my 4Runner !

You're not too far from me, Grammy. My van gets great gas mileage if you want to carpool with me (this goes for anyone who's in the IL tristate area)
