 It doesn't make any sense to me... she looks fairly recently groomed - I mean, her hair isn't that long, too curly, or matted like some of the real strays that've been on the streets for a while :(

too bad I have too many dogs

Lol.. Jenn, I think if I brought hom another dog my mom would attempt to kill me, but not before I commit suicide first. My limit is most definitely nine dogs.. Lol

Well, she's not avaliable for adoption until June 2nd because she's a stray and that's how long they have to keep her in case her owners show up. They usually don't claim the dogs however, because you're fined either way. I asked if there's been a lot of interest in her, because I'm not going to fight for a dog that is probably going to get adopted right away. The lady at the desk said "Not as much as you'd think." I'm not sure how to take this comment, because IMO -in the area- the attitude towards Cockers is that they're all mean. It could also mean that there hasn't been many people visiting the dogs lately, or maybe they're waiting for the 2nd to roll around

I just called, because I didn't trust myself to set eyes on her in person.

What a bad idea, Renee! You know I have a soft spot for cockers :p
