I dunno, I haven't caught up to the most recent episode of The Flash yet, but I'm not a big fan of Cisco? I don't mind him either but I don't see why he's so popular. Like he has his moments where I'm like "hah, he said a funny thing" but for the most part his character seems to 'try hard' for me and 80% of his lines are really forced.

His character is just less funny and more flat out cringey to me, but I'm probably the only one.

To me that is sort of the point of Cisco. He's this super geeky guy and he's actually not very funny, most of his jokes are way lame (Caitlin isn't amused but Barry is because he's Barry), and yes, he tries REALLY hard to get people to like him (with his bad humor.) But ultimately he is genuine. He cares about his teammates and he wants to do right by them. Also, he is incredibly driven by a need to prove himself.

And, in some ways, he is his own worst enemy because of those things.

But yes you should watch the most recent episode, hahaha.

Cisco is one of those characters that I wouldn't even notice if he was gone... I guess it's probably different if you know the comics. Good episode though.

Ah, okay, with that perspective I kind of do like him more. In a sympathetic kind of way? I definitely do root for him all the time but I just haven't been charmed by his character. He does grow on me though, I like him a bit more with each episode.

Last night's episode was pretty good! I love that Malese Jow is in the show now, and I thought Caitlin was adorable (and I'm usually meh about her too). And there was a big hype about the ending but since I don't read the comics, I'm just gonna wait and see what the big deal is! :D

Anyone else watch the new show Fresh of the Boat tonight? It was crazy funny, fingers crossed to remains that way. Busted out laughing at least three times.

Better Call Saul anyone? Got to say, I really like it so far.

Yes! A tad slow at parts, imo, but I can tell it's building up. I am really liking the format so far. LOVED the intro to the first ep AND the ending.... ahhhh! The one who opened the door at the end totally took me by surprise.

Re-watching Merlin. Again.

They need to re-boot this show. I miss it and the last season was basically thrown away.

Hey Fran,

I have to say I am loving it!!!!!
Many people might dismiss it because it's, well, not Breaking Bad.
From the start, I've tried to think of the two as two separate animals altogether.

That being said, the first two episodes have been awesome.
Setting up the series with the "present day" revisit and leading back into the nitty gritty is sure to please returning fans.
Michael McKean's portrayal of Chuck, Saul's electromagnetically sensitive brother, is frustratingly well done. You can sense the tension and chemistry between McKean and Odenkirk. The returning characters have not disappointed and new additions like Nacho are sure to add value to the plot.
Personally, I didn't really like the twins. It might have been the characters themselves as I know they're SUPPOSED to be annoying but they were just a sore spot for me. All the better when you-know-who gives 'em the business though :D

Having broken the cable premiere viewership record with 4.4 million viewers in the 18–49 demographic, Better Call Saul is in a good position to build it's own momentum from here. Despite being on the heels of a program like The Walking Dead, BCS easily has the strength to not only survive but thrive.
I've always been a fan of the underdogs and side characters, so Saul is the perfect concoction for someone like me.

What does everyone else think of it so far? I'll be posting again after tomorrow's episode :)

Thanks,

-Penny D

I couldnt get through Better call Saul, if course it didnt help that it was on the heels of a show like TWD, either.
Hey Dogdragoness,

Please try to watch it again!!!
You won't regret it :)

Also, I was ever so slightly disappointed with TWD premiere. Seemed pretty dry. Either way, it is great to have both!

Thanks

Re - watching Legend of the Seeker and wow there is a fair bit of overlap in actors between in and Spartacus. I keep thinking, I have seen you naked, and you naked lol. Oh and you being a devious jerk..

I love Slade (but then again I love the actor) Arrow is full of actory goodness. Any show with Barrowman is one I will give a go!

ETA: Does anyone watch Vikings?

Ugh, why is Freddie Highmore so awesome?! I love him, and I'm so glad Bates Motel is back on :)

Max is awesome too, lol.
