Shows That Make You Geek Out

So, we have asked about a tv show that was about FBI's special unit and in which they searched missing people at least in some of the episodes. My friend doesn't remember if it was only about missing people or also about something else. In that show they used similar profiling techniques than in Criminal Minds.

Hmm.. maybe The Blacklist? It only came out last year though.

That's not the one my friend had seen. That is apparently about terrorists and criminals whereas the one my friend is looking for was about missing people and maybe something else too. Besides it was a little bit older than the Blacklist but not much. It was not older than 5 years old. So, do you know what might that be or how could my friend find that out? She has tried searching online.

My friend has also this question: Does someone know good swedish detective movie serials? She already knows and has seen these:

Wallander
Irene Huss

Watched the first six seasons of Sons of Anarchy on Netflix...OMG I need season seven to be on Netflix now! That or pay for season seven.

Also the last few episodes of Parenthood...gonna cry every week until it's all over I'm sure.

I'm with you on Parenthood. Going to be really sad when it's over.

But I'm glad it's getting an ending. I binge watched Alphas 2 weeks ago after my husband told me it had a good ending, and seriously wanted to punch him in the face after. Really liked the show, and it ended up on a cliffhanger. I was extremely annoyed about it. How he thought it was an ending is beyond me.

How far into Dexter are you? How you liking the downward spiral the show takes past season 4-5? Haha. I had to watch it all but really got crazy around season 5.

Yep, I'm done now. Finished last ep of season 8. Very disappointing finale. I mean I had heard SO many bad things about the last season but I didn't think it was quite AS bad as people made it out to be... well I mean, maybe my standards were just so low, lol, but I did get sucked in to the last like 4 eps of season 8 wanting to know what was going to happen. And then the way it ended I was just like um, wtf, and felt so empty. LOL

I liked season 5 actually but it definitely went way downhill. One of those things though I just had to keep watching because I'm so attached to the characters etc but they totally botched season 8. It could've been SO amazing, I can think of so many other ways the show could've gone.

A shame. Such a fan of Michael C Hall, loved the 2 totally different characters he played on Six Feet Under and then Dexter, so it's always sad to see a show that was doing SOOO great go down the tubes. Happened to Nip/Tuck too. Loved that show like mad for the first 3-4 seasons and then just... I don't even know what happens.

Still one of my absolute favorite shows though, I just will remember it for it's first 4 seasons lol.

I don't think the show would even still be running if Damon didn't do something to mess things up enough for another episode to be needed, lol.

Yeah but let's face it, there's no way Jo would have won anyway. I admit I didn't see that coming though.

Yeah, I agree Jo never would have won. But Damon was only thinking about Liz instead of what would happen after.

I honestly was really hoping that Luke would win, but I'm not all that shocked (highlight because spoilers) that Kai won after all.

I liked the finale too! I think they could've made it into a 2 hour episode though, sad they didn't for the very last one. Either way, really touching. Handled Zeek thing appropriately I thought.
