Does anybody else here have a Shikoku? I'm so excited to hear the Shikoku is being accepted by the AKC FSS! My Shikoku just turned 10 this year, but I would like to register him with the FSS. Do you know if the AKC FSS accepts JKC (Japanese Kennel Club) registrations? My Shikoku is only registered with the JKC. I know for sure that the CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) accepts JKC registrations and I could register my Shikoku with them, then with the AKC FSS. I'm unsure if the UKC accepts JKC registrations, but I'm almost sure the AKC FSS accepts UKC. I know for a fact that the ARBS will not accept JKC registrations. I don't know about the DRA or ACA. I don't know what the AKC FSS accepts, though. Right now my Shikoku is only registered with the JKC. That is because I imported him directly from Japan.
My suggestion would be to go to each registry's website and look at the requirements to register with them.
