I am partialy back lol I am just waiting for my room to be built so I can unpack my computer. I have had quite a time without you guys...worst was I could tell you about it till now. first off I am puppyless. SADNESS. I mentioned to you before about the two dogs that run loose here. WELL I will update my post on the starved one in its post. My closest neighbors have a red meral australian shepherd. She was always over here fighting with Buddie and trying to get taber to run off with her. We asked the neighbors to keep her home. amd they said no. They are never home from 4am to 6-7 pm. meanwhile this dog is loose roaming the country.SO whenever she came over and caused problems we would take her to her yard and attach her leash to her. And we would fill her water dish with water. THe guy freaked on my parents yelled at them for a half hour. threatening them so my mom told him if he didnt start taking care of his dog the next time she came over she would turn her over to the humane society and hewould have to pay to get her out of the pound.My parents were still living at the other place and it was just me and my cousins here. Well my parents left and he started yelling at us saying he was going to kill our dogs. (he was drunk outta his mind)And that he would see how brave we were come 2 am in the morning. We had no phones at the time so we kept a look out for him. He didnt show. We talked to his land lord (he is the man we bought this land from) and he said next time call the police he is on parol he just got out of jail for being abuse well under the influece of alcohol. The next day my friend was over she had a cell phone and my parents were there this time. We were sittin at the camp fire and I turned around and he was standing about ten feet away from me withhis arms crossed ,smug face and fellow beer in hand. He went crazy we had to callthe police. He keeps his dog inside when he is home and takes her to a sitter when he works. I feel sorry for his kids...Six of them all really young. A dew days later was the 4th of july. My parents didnt come that day. It was going well untill Taber got bit by a copper head.I was at my whits end I gave him green tea and chocolate it was the only way to get fluids in him.. He was having convulsions. I held him all night it was impossible to sleep. Next day he coudnt move I was desperate. I went through our storage shed and found dog pain reliever. Gave him some. And I waited. A half hour later he was all better.My parnents finally got there we Took him to the vet he said it was the strangest thing. he should have been dead. since then we have killed two 4 foot long osage copper heads. I nearly stepped on one it was sunning on the bottom of our steps. I saw it move and I looked down. good thing two. one more step and snap!!!!!Its so hot here 102 all week exept today man does the coolness feel great! Loves neck is all better hairy as ever!!!!!
I got me sheep up here. The baby had liver fluke and all most died. (ppl she stayed at didnt take the best care of her. lucky we caught it and treated it. I finally picked a name for Precious's baby (the momma ewes) I named her Harmony!
Does anyone else do this.... The other day I passed a dead dog on the highway I made my brother stop his truck and let me check if it was alive. It was dead. I wanted to take it home and bury it but then its owners would not know what happened to it. I cried I felt so bad for its family.... I mean what if it was owned by a child... There is nothing more depressing than a dead animal on the side of the road.
We have a new addition a blind bottle baby goat. SHe is hanging to life on a tiny thread. keep her in your thoughts for us.
