Satin balls and diahorrea

I've recently started using satin balls on my German shepherd and husky.. Not much that is.. I Feed them kibble first then the satin balls.. They have had a bit of diahorrea.. Not sure how much to feed now because I was just giving them one each.. Just to put on a few pounds

I never heard of satin balls. What are they and why do you want to feed them to your German Shepherd?

They are high fat and protein balls.. Mainly for the purpose if putting on weight.. You can google the ingredients

Please refer to your vet for the proper diet and if the dog is throwing up or having diarrhea, but you are giving them is not appropriate.

What kibble are you feeding?
Satin balls can be a good additive for some dogs to put on weight. Sometimes shepherds and huskies are notorious for being hard to put weight on.... if it’s giving them diarrhea it may be too rich or just a tad too much for them. You could try cutting them in half, starting out slow and building up gradually. Canned pumpkin might help add fiber for the stool. It’s really difficult to say for sure without seeing the dogs / the whole picture, but I hope that helps a little.
