I have a Ruffwear Front Range Harness that seems pretty much perfect for us for biking, hiking, etc, but I have a question - I've just started tracking with Louis (my Bouvier who is crazily strong) and we're both loving it. Is this harness heavy duty and comfortable enough for tracking, keeping in mind Louis pulls a lot while tracking and it's all I can do to slow him down enough to keep him in control and on the track.

Would I be better off finding a harness made more specifically for pulling, or should this be comfortable enough for him?

I wouldn't use it for tracking on my dogs. The chest plate sits too high and cuts into their necks when their nose is to the ground. Your dog is probably shaped different so it might work for you. As long as it looks comfortable for your dog.

Jadex, I'll have to pay attention to how high the chest plate sits on him, especially when his nose is to the ground. Good advice - thanks.
