Lucas just got a birthday present from his "grandparents."

It's shampoos from Royal Treatment. Says it's made in Italy and has all fancy ingredients. Looks better than the stuff I use on myself.

Does anyone know this stuff? Their site is fancy, too, but I want the facts before I put it on Lucas. Anybody used it before?

Thanks.

I don't know that I have ever heard of it, but I would probably be anxious to try it. Is it a gentle type, medicated etc? Whats the name of the website? I want to check it out.

I've used it. Got free samples of it from someplace. Gave Rosey really dry skin and bad dandruff. She was so itchy, at first we thought she may have fleas.

Yikes! You're scaring me, Jess.

The site is getroyaltreatment[dot]com. It is run by an Italian prince. Apparently he's also famous for being on The Bachelor if you're into that sort of thing.

Now I don't know what to do. I hate to just toss it and I'm sure my folks will ask about it when we talk this weekend.

Anybody else?

Which scent did they get? It's fine to link to a website here. The only time you want to do [dot] is if you're typing an e-mail.
The ingredients look fine, if a bit heavy on scented oils, but they have so many it's hard to know unless I know exactly which one I'm looking at!

I won't put anything on any of my dogs unless its a reputable brand. Otherwise I feel like I am taking chance of damaging their coats.

I just looked at the shampoos on their website. It looks like a VERY good shampoo. I'd use it in a heart beat. Honestly it has the best ingredients I have ever seen in a shampoo. I am sure its too pricey to use at my grooming shop, or I would get some!

Wow, sorry I was gone from the boards for so long. I didn't think people ever really read my posts!

Thanks for the opinions. The shampoos in question are the Italian vanilla milk and the Italian coconut & vanilla. Sure do smell good.

I used one on Lucas and he seemed very happy. So far his coat looks good and he doesn't seem to have any reactions -- course, it's only been about 8 hours.

So I guess that prince got it right. And yeah -- the stuff is pricey. Don't know if I'd buy it for Lucas regularly, but it sure makes a good gift!
