I just recieved these three Rotties yesterday. They are just beautiful, well tempered and lovable. The owner is going through a seperation which caused her to move. Can you all help me help the dogs? She would like them to go together since they were raised together and are siblings. They are all registered and out of German show and working dogs. Please help these dogs find a new home!

Did the dogs owner ever contact the breeder she got the dogs from?

Okay this is what happened. The lady is the breeder of the pups. She kept them back to show in Confirmation. She has been having relationship problems with her husband for a life time. Being married for 24 years she finally had enough. I'm just doing her a favor.

I have decided to keep the female, she gets along well with Sasha and thats cool. The males well the lift their legs on everything. So I hope to find them homes right away!

They are registered the sire is Cd, cdx and tdx certified along with a personal protection level 1. I am not great at this so forgive me. The mom comes from great breeding as well, with some champion show dogs and a few direct german imports in the back ground. The mom was not titled. Both parent health tested clear is what I was told. I seen the papers on both dogs!

The owner started the dogs in the show ring but when hubby went off the wall she had to stop. As far as health testing if I have to pay for that I will. What is required?

If you are unable to find them a home, the great people at Rottie rescue Im sure could help you out. Finding them the right type of Forever home is very important... you need to find a home that is very dog smart in general and usually having priviously owned a Rottweiler before is ideal.

I dont know how lucky you would be for someone to adopt all 3...but good luck in your search!!

I am getting quite attached to all of them, they are wonderful dogs. I have placed ads at the vets and in our local paper, most of these people want to breed. Nope not going to happen. I've made arrangements to have them fixed this week.

Anyhow, if none of these areas work I will contact the rescue services. Thanks for the vote of confidence.

As far as health clearances I was just wondering because that would make them much more desirable to some.

Do you have experience with a breed like a Rott? Any chance of you keeping them? It would be VERY hard to place them all together. Do you have any other dogs?

And finally what area are you in? Pm me if you want. I know of some great rescues that might be willing to help at least locate homes for the Rottie's. And kudos to you for taking on such a great (and big) task. :)

Yup I have fallen in love with the female, she is such a card so I want to keep her. Marv has a great personality as well so I may keep him too. I am undecided about that since I have to secure the situation with the by-laws officer if I can keep them..

Then there is Benny, he's seems so lost and depressed,he goes out side with me on leash, does his thing. Then when we get back to the house he just goes right back into his crate. I hope he gets over that soon, I think he needs someone special. We have Sasha the Springer Spaniel we just had her fixed so there's not worries there.

As far as the breed no I don't know much but I am willing to learn. I won't give up on either of them what so ever. They will go to the right homes only. Thanks for the kind words.

First, kudos for taking them in. And, here's my advice to you:

1. Get all three of them spayed/neutered.
2. Contact Rottweiler rescue (or a bully breed rescue), explain your situation to them. Offer to take care of and foster the dogs, and then ask if they could possibly put the dog on their website listing (if they have one), or if they could refer people looking for a young, male purebred to you.
3. On the plus side, the rescue workers are going to be able to offer you a ton of great tips on dealing and working with rotties. They definately aren't the breed for everyone!

Thank you for assisting in this area, these dogs are just awesome. I pray that we find the right forever home for them. They get fixed this week, to many people want them for breeding purposes. Which makes me sick!

What, pray tell, is "personal protection level 1"?

Only person I've seen use the term is Yuckaduck.

Sorry, my mistake, the dog was Sch level 1. As noted I am a novice in this area. All that should matter is that the dogs have been fixed and placed into proper forever homes.
