Hello all

I have been away from here for several years now although I have always mostly been a lurker :) It is so nice to still see lots of familiar names and of course lots of new ones!

I still live in New Jersey but got remarried a few years ago and moved from extreme South Jersey to Central NJ. I came into the relationship with my Manchester Terrier, Zippy, and my husband and his adult kids had a Dachshund and a Shiba Inu. Unfortunately the Shiba passed away recently from nasal cancer. The Dachsund is almost 12 but doing ok. Zippy is now 10 years old and doing great. The ACD that is in my profile pic passed several years ago.

I still have my trail horse Bull's Eye although I don't always get to ride as much as I would like.

I am also so fortunate and thankful to now be living out my doggy dreams with our wonderful Belgian Tervuren pup Niko. We got him from a wonderful breeder this past summer. He just turned 7 months old and I was on the puppy list before he was even conceived and got to follow along with his development until we got him at 9 weeks old. I have always wanted to get involved with dog sports and now Niko and I are doing puppy agility class and it is so much fun! I never had any intention of doing conformation showing but when his breeder invited us back for a club meeting / fun day. she reevaluated him and asked us if we would consider showing him. I was used to horse showing but dog showing is a whole other world LOL. I immediately started attending a local handling class and I am trying to learn all I can. We attended a couple 4-6 month puppy shows but now this coming weekend he makes his debut in the "big boy" classes ;) I am excited and nervous all at the same time :)

I look forward to catching up with everyone and learning about and seeing pics of everyone's dogs. I will try not to just lurk so much this time :lol-sign: Now I am going to inundate you with some pics :p
