This may seem silly, especially with all the best laid plans and how little Merlin has done professional training wise (we haven't even passed his CGC yet...)
but Merlin is just.. a good boy.

We've moved to a new city, different coast, he comes to work EVERY DAY and hangs out with people and other strange dogs and he is just so loving and sweet with everyone. Everyone comes by to snuggle him and he just EATS IT UP and I feel so blessed that he is so sweet with all people.

he rides the bus, goes shopping, goes to happy hour after work and just everything my life entails he flourishes.
He doesn't even go in his crate when I go out anymore!

It's not a HUGE deal stuff I know but lately I've just been so grateful for him.

He's my bestest buddy

Oh and he got a bit of a modeling gig

That's awesome! What a good boy!

Also, I'm so jealous that you can take him to work and so many other places in your life. That is just great. He's a lucky dog to live with you and get that kind of life.

And he looks beautiful in his modeling debut.

I think any time you can feel proud about your dog is awesome and brag worthy. :)

And Merlin def lucked out having you as an owner. :)

A dog that is able to go everywhere and do anything is just as brag worthy as a dog that wins at sports in my book. ;)

Yey for Merlin! ^_^

I'm so jealous that you can bring Merlin with you to work and everywhere! His life seems so full and social and fun... blessed dog, blessed life!

Where are you guys living/working right now? I really wish I can find a dog-friendly workplace like you guys when I get the chance. =)

I'd say Merlin has earned his canine good citizen title regardless of whether or not he's been tested. It's like a work study title or something.

We are visiting OH here in dallas and Lincoln is kind of shell shocked, poor guy :(

BUT that being said, he is taking it better than I thought he would, and better than most 5 month old puppies ... hell better than most adult dogs I know! He took the 4+ hour drive here like a champ! So I guess I cant get mad at the occasional nervous whine he does LOL.

I know he will get adjusted and its good for him to have these kinds of experiences when he is young.

Merlin is just an awesome dog. I truly enjoy seeing him and your photos all the time and reading your little stories about him. He's something special and there really isn't better words than "he's just a GOOD BOY!" I feel the same about Jackson in the sense that yes our training has been severely lacking lately, we've been somewhat lazier, we haven't been involved in any sports in a while, etc, but **** there's something great about just being able to look at your dog and realize what a good dog they are for just being them! Merlin is lucky to have you.

I think I have the best puppy ever ... I am here visiting OH, totally different living situation, apartment with stairs, no yard, more people around (which he barks at, but thats ok, i dont mind that) and he had to endure a 5 hour trip here! He is taking this better than most puppies would ... hell ... better than most ADULT DOGS would!

He took it all in stride, in fact, he is doing better here than Josefina is LOL.

Go Merlin!

Those are honestly my favorite brags and most important to me. My dogs are companions first and sports dogs second, so being able to take them wherever I'm going is a huge requirement of mine.

SO glad he's fitting in to your new lifestyle AND loves!!

Aww! That's so exciting : ) That's honestly one of the most important qualities in a dog, for me. I don't care necessarily that he likes everyone, but I just love a dog that can go anywhere/do anything with you. What a good boy, Merlin. (and let's be real... he's adorable too.)
