Brooks had his first two day trial this weekend. We competed in Beginner Novice (the world is too fun for Poodles to heel free just yet 
). The first day he overshot the recall (because he's a speedy thing) and then decided, hey, while I'm back here, let me sniff around. Thus a NQ.
Today, he apparently decided he was not doing that again. He performed lovely So, first leg and a first place
