Why, after us telling him multiple times that Moo is afraid or people with covered heads and faces, that my roommate would wear his Halloween mask around the house on the 30th while the dog was out? This resulted in lunging and growl/roaring at him until we could reassure him that it's the same person he knows and loves. Once he figured it out, he hid and stopped interacting with the roommate until the mask was off, and then tackled him in an "OH GOD PLEASE HOLD ME I JUST NEED TO KNOW IT'S YOU" kind of way.

Yesterday evening, we were baking for the parties we were going to, and it was 5 or 6pm - way before trick-or-treaters. He and his son come in, and his son is dressed in a full Scream costume - cape, mask and knife. I was covered in bitter and flour and had my dog roaring and jumping at this kid in my livingroom. I KNOW he wasn't wearing that mask when they went out to eat. WHY on earth would my roommate let his KID come into the house with a dog he knows doesn't like masks?

WHO DOES THAT?

Then, instead of telling the kid to take the mask off, he tells me to put the dog away so the kid can run around the house in his costume.

Thoughtless, mindless, brainless, careless, clueless... Or maybe just a Darwin example waiting to happen?
