Today it was unusually warm so I took the Red-headed Step Sisters to the River Trail today.

And then, at the very end of our walk I figured out how to get to the d@mn pond without breaking our necks!!!!!!!! They put in huge slopes/drop offs that are about 9o degrees, but there was a dirt path leading right to the pond that people have been using that I did not see before! The leash wasn't long enough for her to get out far enough to swim, made me sad.

Needless to say, next time I am bringing a toy and long line ha.

This was Lacey's first time in water (besides her rubbermaid "pool") and I was surprised when she just went right in with NO pause. Iam not going to lie, she almost pulled me in LOL!

They are crappy cell phone pics, I have a Point & Shoot camera I almost took with us... but I didn't feel like lugging it around. The quality wouldn't have been much better, the camera sucks too haha. We walked about 5 miles.

I am leaning towards "Roo" too. It would make things less complicated at the vet, and when people ask about her name. Rue its more unique though. Blah, I hate decisions lol!
