My birthday yesterday- I turned 22!

and... I just really wanted to take pictures of Lancer and Rara sitting with cake. They don't look very flashy, because food is before them.

I can practically hear Lancer screaming on the inside.

Rara's actually pretty good at this stay still for the camera thing! LOL

SO NOW since I shamelessly threw my dog's serious faces with cake photos here, I want to see your dogs with food, hopefully with more jovial, natural expressions than mine. :rofl1: Ready go!

Happy Birthday! Hope you had a good one (I imagine it was kind of hard not to with a cake that looks that good :D)

Fable is the biggest food hound around (which generally translates to extreme counter surfing ), but we have been working on her stay and leave it commands with food, and she has gotten much better with not eating ALL of the foods.

There is nothing jovial about this photo except for the smiley treats:

Begging for her favorite treat:

And a perfect example of what happens when I don't screw the lid on *all* they way:

AHHH that first photo. LOL! Fable looks like she's all, "Is this necessary though."

Thanks! It was a good blueberry mousse cake.

Cohen is literally amazing. How she holds a stinky hot dog in her mouth without immediately swallowing it is beyond me. :rofl1: I'm also suddenly motivated to teach Rara this. .... and Lancer has about 0 chance of doing this trick. LOL

Thanks!!
and OH MY GOD, WHAT A CUTE PATOOT. That face! I wish I could post this on facebook hahah!

These are so cute!

Both you and Cohen are actually amazing. These make such good photos too. :p
... don't mind me while I get Rara and throw treats on her head. She better do this right. :rofl1:

Corvus is great with not touching food unless he's told that he can. In fact, if I forget to tell him "Okay!" when I put his food bowl down, he'll sit there and stare at it until I realize I forgot to tell him he can eat. I have dozens of photos of him showing how good he is with food, but this is my favorite.

Ditto has no such control. And as such, zero photos that contain her and food in the same space. If I tried to pose her with food, she would inhale it before I could even snap one photo. :p

Caleb's like that, too. There have been times I've released him, and then find him hovering over his food dish staring at it because he second guessed what I said. Or the other day when our grandson fed him. After grandson put the dish on the floor, I very quietly told him to tell Caleb "OK". Of course, Caleb heard that and headed to his dish. I said "Oops" not for him, but at myself because I goofed, and Caleb froze right over his dish. He reminds me of Snoopy imitating a vulture when he does that.

I don't have any of Toby posing with people food... but he is ALWAYS trying to get to the cat food, and one day... I gave them wet food... which is a total rarity in this house but we had a foster cat in the house who needed to fill out a little so.....

Foxy got a doggy cupcake for the first time ever the other day. I tried to make her pose with it specifically to get a picture for this thread, as she actually has a very solid 'wait' and 'leave it' but this picture takes the cake, literally :rofl1:
