I was away at a band gig and got home today, but my wife and Franco took some pics of the dogs having a blast in the snow. We have close to 2 feet. These pics are from yesterday afternoon, the storm had a long way to go when these were taken.
Franco is our exchange student from Brazil. He's never seen snow except for a dusting we had a couple weeks ago, so this was totally new to him.

Kill the snow! Kill it! :rofl1:

Daisy is just so gorgeous and Gunnar just looks awesome as always. I'm guessing Bruzer had better things to do than get buried? ;)

Is Buzz still around?

Bruzer isn't too fond of it- especially when it's twice as deep as he is tall! He waits for the big ones to make their paths and then he'll follow along but he's not out there to play like they are.

We rehomed Buzz last year. As much as we tried, it didn't work. The final straw was when he started getting aggressive with Daisy. He lives on 20 acres now with a teenage boy to throw his ball and no other dogs to worry about.

When I got home this morning, my wife and Franco were shovelling, and I brought Gunnar out. He found his frisbee in the garage and I threw it into the yard for him, it disappeared, and watching him scent it and track it down was real fun to watch. He just plowed thru the snow which was up to his chest, buried his head sniffing, and didn't give up until he found it. Cool stuff!

Dan, I just love all your family pics. I have to say I really like seeing Bruzer; there's just something about him that makes me smile.

Aww, that's so nice for Buzz! I knew you were having issues with him and thinking about finding him a new home, I just didn't know (or missed) that you had done it. Sounds like a great match though!
