(is there an existing thread for other pets already? I'm going to make this one anyway. 3__3 )

Mello, my 16 year old RES looking young and spry.
She actually does look very young and spry, because her growth was stunted... she is forever 5~6 inches long.

TURTLE BUTT

This is my 55 gallon planted aquarium. :D All the plants are real. This is what it looked like a year ago... I've revamped it again just a couple weeks ago, so waiting for this aquascape to grow lush again. Somehow none of my fish are visible in these photos. LOL

old photo of my two budgies, Snow and Ice. They were around 4 months old in this photo. They're a year and 4 months old now.

and my late parrot, Tinker... she passed away from some scary expoding tumor exactly 2 year ago. :(

I have a small aqurium as well as two female rats and a female cat. Ember and Pearl are the rats and Fiora is my cat.

Ratties are new and about 12 weeks old now. Pearl is a Cinnamon Pearl (supposedly) and Ember is mostly black. Ember is the adventurous one. (Meh quality photos. I've only had them a couple weeks.)

And with my SO :)

And Fiora. A 3ish year old Manx/Main Coon mix. She's SO's pet mostly.

Destiny - 13 years old

Angel - 12 years old

Oden - I've had him a little more than 6 years but he was an adult when I found him so I don't have a good guess of his age.

Possum - Estimated between 12-15 years old. He's not doing very well right now. :(

Ella - 3 1/2 years old, healthy, hilarious and perfect.
IMG_4106 by JessLough, on Flickr

Nacho - Around 8 or 9 years old. Ancient, has Adrenal and stomach cancer, and yet is going to live forever. He's a permanent foster with the rescue that I run.
IMG_4223 by JessLough, on Flickr

Apollo - 5 1/2 years old. Has Adrenal cancer, and came to me a little over a month ago. He is another permanent foster. He's much more bald now, most of his back having lost it's fur.

Summer - Around 5-6 years old (I think? I lost the information LOL). Brand new, came to me on New Years Eve. She's tiny, so far a rock star with everything, and another permanent foster through the rescue.

Berta - Grumpiest fish ever. Still needing a serious tank upgrade to real plants.
IMG_4329 by JessLough, on Flickr

And I have a 20 gallon that's filled with guppies and some rasboras.

I don't have any recent photos, but here is Dandy, my cockatiel.

I believe she is 10 years old now.

Since last year, she has made the transition to being a class pet (except she always comes home with me and I NEVER let anyone else take her home). She loves it! She lets all of the kids hold her, but is particularly fond of the shy ones who are a little scared of her. She'll follow them around asking for pets (something she only rarely lets the outgoing kids do). It's a great confidence boost for them, and they all warm up to her really quickly. She also has great bite inhibition, and teaches my students "the rules" much better than I can; yet has never so much as pinched a student. At home, she screams annoyingly sometimes, but in the classroom she is either quiet or sings.

Oh, here's another I found on my computer. She is pretty much a cat.

ohhh- I have guppies and rasboras in my 55 gallon too! These rasboras are the hardiest fish I've owned. :p My guppies probably had one too many generations of inbreeding, so their body sizes became smaller and smaller... growth rate very slow, and very few fry produced per preg guppy. Takes a guppy fry half a year to become an adult size guppy (ridiculous).

Gosh, Dandy sounds like the perfect cockatiel. T_T She is adorable too. If I ever become a teacher for little kids one day, I feel that class pets like Dandy are perfect for both socialization for the animal and learning for the kids. I love cockatiels and their easygoing temperaments, at least in comparison to most other parrot species.

Tinker never bit anybody in her entire short life and she was always in an incredibly calm, good mood and asking for pets. Tinker was more like a newfoundland than a parrot LOL.

Ughh tell me about it. A while ago I had some bad water, wiped out most of my guppies and the stupid rasboras were fine. I just want them to die. LOL

Besides Caleb, we only have Shaker, an 11 1/2 year old Mini Rex.

We sort of have a hermit crab, too. Dutch actually belongs to a Kindergarten class where I work, but stays with us until they do their unit on living things in the spring. I have a bunch of pictures of his predecessor, Bandit, but not many of him.

My kids LOVE her! Some of them are obsessed
Like....they pretend to be Dandy at recess during their pretend games. It's their normal "play house" games that girls do, except one of them always gets to be Dandy whistling in the corner :rofl1:

Just one non-dog pet right now! This is Oberyn, a two-year-old anerythristic corn snake who I am very fond of:

May be getting a another little corn snake hatchling soon, so stay tuned!

Chinda passed away a couple months ago after a period of declining health :( He was a month short of 20, though, so he was quite a long-lived cat.

Ethan (Morgan), on left, and Buddy (Quarterhorse), both in their mid-twenties

Miss Doria Grey and Miss Mary Mack, aka The Hooligans (they'll be two years old in the spring). Their first introduction to catnip... it wasn't pretty.

Good Golly Miss Molly (unsure of her age but we're guessing at least middle-aged), we're her fourth home. She came with lots of Tortitude.

Bill Bailey (aka Mr. Bill), he'll be 15 this year

Allegro, he'll be 16 this year

Mad Mike (Mr. Bill's brother)

Lionel Scritchie, about 14 yrs. old

Shredder/Shreddies my Cockatiel. We took her in after my budgies had all passed. She was being given away because she had a nice little habit of stealing diamonds out of her owner's jewelry. She's probably close to 12 or so now.
She refuses to eat anything other than budgie food (will leave the sunflower seeds in cockatiel food whole), and potato chips, does not like veggies, fruits or anything else lol.

Reese's the Rabbit.

My old Hedgie Mephiles. He was about 2 years old when I took him in. A lady that ran a rescue found him at the shelter. Unfortunately he was horribly unsocialized with people and despite our better efforts he remained that way.
He lived to be about 5 in our care.

And there's a 120 Gallon tank with some goldfish right now

Two cats I've had since they were kittens. Rascal will turn 18 in Feb. Rasza will turn 18 in March.

They're both hyperthyroid but do well with meds. Rascal still sleeps with me almost every night.

They also still play together and it is adorable.
