Windows 7 on one laptop, the full version, then I have win 7 starter on one netbook and I was running Ubuntu on a netbook but I recently switched back to Win 7 on it as Ubuntu was driving me mad.

MAC OSX 10.8.2 ..which I believe is Mountain lion.

I like it a lot..admittedly, I don't know much about computers, but it works very well for me and my school work. Everything is fast and runs smoothly.

The update was only $20 from the last one (snow leopard I believe..)

Most impressive was the new icloud features, everything syncs up really well. Oh and the messages.. It puts everything I get/send to a person (messages, email, pictures) all in one spot, even if they are from/to my phone, ipad, computer. Which is mighty cool.

Mac. Snow Leopard.

I've had this computer for like 3 years and as much as I love it, I still have no clue how to really do anything on it lol. So I'm not even going to bother upgrading because I probably wouldn't know what the difference is :p

Sorry for the double post, I can't edit.

I get more and more tempted to switch my netbook to Linux, but I need a few windows programs.

My husband has been the one experimenting with Linux, and none of his projects have gone well. If I do it, I plan on being more careful.
What Windows programs do you need? I Rarely Need Windows.

I use Windows. Briefly tried Linux on an old machine but didn't have the time to get used to it, and I'm such a creature of habit.

I've been pleased with win7 and don't really care to make an immediate jump to the new one. I've been horribly suspicious of windows ever since Vista.

winsxs was the folder. I only had the OS on my C drive and it ate up the entire drive.

what do you mean what program is it tied to? Do you mean what program did I use to try to move it? I can't remember that lol

My Vista has worked for me now for 5-6 years, something like that. So I'm pleased with it.
I found Vista clunky and overbearing on a home PC, I would hate to have used it in a work/domain environment. When it works, like it has for you, its a solid OS, when it doesnt it is a painful experience to fix.

When I went Linux I went all balls in, it was the fastest learning curve. Only reason I have 7 on my laptop is my dead friend did not want me on the work domain with linux.

With Steam coming to linux Im going to need a more capable machine.

Win7 is very nice, Im not looking forward to Win 8 in a few weeks. Win 8 may be the next Vista, and 7 may be the next XP.

Snow Leopard and Windows 7 on my Macbook Pro. I think the iMac is still on Leopard. And then my Nexus 7 is on Jelly Bean.

The poll needs you to be able to click multiple options

At the moment I am running Vista/Ubuntu (I think Precise Pangolin) on my desk top. My netbook runs Ubuntu Natty Narwhal (and with an awesome name like that who wants to upgrade)

At work I work on Mountain Lion or Lion but work with Leopard and up.
