I MIGHT be able to do the 27th if we do it in the morning! I won't be able to stay long but would love to see everyone. If that's not an option though, no worries! Next time. :)

Oh, yah. I'd be getting into Toronto around 10:30am and need to catch a train home for 6:30pm.

Maybe we could do the beach this month and then something on leash in a couple months?

July 27th works for me. Morning or evening. I think it could be fun. I'd also be willing to attend another walk on-leash later on in the summer.

Pencil it in. :)

Feel free to pipe up with alternate meeting locations. Sunnybrook park? Kew Beach/east beaches dog parks are nice. I don't know the surrounding areas of Toronto, but if anyone else has suggestions I'm all ears.

At Cherry Beach the parking lot can get a little full on a nice weekend in the summer so earlier is best for purely that sake.

I don't know Toronto enough to suggest anything. Mainly just asking that if we change location, it be somewhere i can get to via public transport fairly easily!

I'm pretty flexible as far as a place to meet up--- I would probably stay the night locally/semi-locally Saturday night (gladly accept recommendations)

Crossbone would like a place with water! But he doesn't do super well with large groups in confined places.

Are there any dog friendly places to eat at?

There's William's Coffee downtown - it's in the "Pawsway"
Sort of on the expensive side, but what I've had from the menu has been pretty alright.

I know of a expansive leash-free park with a river but it's more Oshawa way unfortunately.

The park where I am working is lovely. It has a nice dog park as well as walking trails, lots of parking, and picnic tables with bbqs. We could pot luck it. There is water, but I don't know if its accessable

Aww bummer, I work that day and I'm in Ottawa. So 9 hours of driving round trip. Not feasible for me. :(

So I didn't realise that Toronto airport isn't in, you know, Toronto.

So I'll probably join y'all a little late. :p
Pearson (YYZ) is pretty far out of the city. Billy Bishop (YTZ) is on Toronto Island and is much closer to the city and the potential meet up area. Can you snag a Porter flight to the island?

If we're still doing Cherry Beach, there's normally a food cart there on weekends. However it's pretty isolated and I can't think of any dog friendly food areas nearby. There are public barbeques in the non-dog area which we could probably use if we snag them early (dogs are allowed, but it's separated from the dog park). I'm not sure though - it's been a while since I've been there.

Oh, yes!

So I'm flying into Billy Bishop at 10:30. I'll probably get to the beach (if we're still meeting there!) around 11:30, but I'll just find y'all!
