Today, I become one less lurker. lol

My name's Emily and this is my Mackenzy:

Mostly, it looks like this:

That's Macky in a nutshell! She is a 6 year old Cocker X Golden (as far as we know). She is my sport dog, and right now she has her CD, RN, RA, and RL1 (APDT) and we're hoping to get our CDX this fall. She loves to run next my bike, and can go for miles.

I live like... mmm... 5 minutes away from Lindsey (Traveler's Lindsey, LOL), so we love to work dogs together and I get to play with crazy spotty dog pretty often. Mackenzy despised him when he was a puppy, but now she's come around and likes to beat him up. You may recognize Macky from pictures Lindsey has put up.

(Her ears are full of burrs from the park, poor girl. But they're out now!)

DISCLAIMER: Lindsey took all these pics with her fancy schmancy camera and I used them with permission. (Hey, Lindsey, can I use your pics? Great, thanks. LMAO)

As for me, I'm 22, finished my BA (in Music) in May, and I'm about to move out and start a new job as the assistant manager of a dog daycare/boarding/grooming place. Looking forward to talking dogs with you all!

Ohhhhhh I've said this to Linds before, but she really reminds me of a golden version of my dog. She is lovely, and is lucky to get to play with the crazy spotty dog :p

Welcome to Chaz by the way, its crazy but fun here :D

I wouldn't say you've become any less of a creeper, just a more public one.

Also, your dog prefers when she looks like she crawled out of a shallow grave. And Traveler thinks she looks pretty no matter what, especially when he's looking up at her from sprawled out at her feet in fear.

.....or when she's thinking hard about humping Kaylee.

HI! I've loved the look of your dog for a long time. :D

Thanks! Yeah, in my lurkings, I have always said that our dogs look alike! Especially in the face (it's a sweet face, isn't it?).

:D No comment on the creeping. LOL. She almost dug herself a shallow grave yesterday, remember?

LMAO. I have never seen this dog dig a day in her life until yesterday, when she was frantically tearing up the river bank looking for something no one (including the other dogs) could detect.

Welcome! I love Mackey, she's beautiful!
Thank you!

LOL that actually makes me feel a lot better, haha. I tell myself I couldn't be an assistant manager without a BA... right? Right.

And thanks, Macky is a pretty girl (usually). She is also just fabulous on the inside too - super stable temperament, and put up with all my early mistakes as handler. She is usually the only mix at our local AKC trials and she does me proud! Love my girl, so thanks for all the compliments on her.
