I tried lieing to myself I was over my ex-boyfriend of 2 years. So you know I hate country but my friend told me about this song "waiting on a woman" and its awful :yikes: its totally wrong and uncalled for! So as you know my ex loved to make me wait!! So I wrote a quick song and im sending if off to the jerk who wrote that song...big jerk  So here it is (sing in techno theme)

I spent all night waitin for you to show
they always say that women always make a man wait
well I think now its time that the world knows the truth
I am sick of all you pricless excuses
rampages that I throw when you never show
All your like all you'll do is

waitin on man
waitin on man
who has time for man who aint ready for commitment
they dont know the first thing about a woman
throw your hand in the air if you too are sick of
waitin on a man

Aww. I love country, and I love that song. It always makes me think of my grandfather, who died almost two years ago, and I am certain is waiting patiently for my grandmother to join him whenever she is ready.

Yeah, I am going through all the stages of getting over someone you loved! ****, it feels awful. First you are fine, then you cry some more then you get busy and your fine and then you cry some more. I haven't hit the anger stage yet because I am really the one to blame for staying with him, I kind of knew all along he was seeing other girls. My girlfriends wanted me to come over and go to a college party with them but I turned them down. Steph she grabbed a pillow and hit me on the head and said that falling for a boy this young is stupid. I guess she is right!!

I love that song too. it's brad Paisley that sings it and it's a wonderful song and makes me tear up lol.

Breaking up is never easy even if you are the one that breaks up with them for whatever reason.

How old are you?

You should have a girlfriend or two over for a night of chick flicks, junk food and (if you are of age) alcohol. :) You don't need to go to a raving college party. You need a night to sit at home with your girls and watch sappy movies and eat junk and just be crazy girls.

Why is it awful, wrong, and uncalled for? I think it's a terribly sweet and affectionate song...

Yeah and totally! I just needed a night alone to wallow to myself. Haha! How lame did that just sound? I am twenty three. Yeah, we need to get the Margaritas going around and singing the first dance song that plays on the radio!!!

I love that song! it's an incredibly sweet song! and TBH I don't see how it really has anything to do with your situation....

Things will get better....not to mention, if he's as bad as your song makes him, you're better off!

It's wrong because she didn't need to hear that right now. The way she's feeling - it's a slap in the face to her. Not the songwriter's fault; there are plenty of men out there in the exact same position as the OP. It happens to both sexes.

Besides, that's how the OP feels, and her feelings are hers and they are real. You feel how you feel - and her reply song really is good, lol!

And yah, country makes my ears bleed too ;)

It takes time, and you're going to go through all of those emotions several times. Sometimes the best antidote is the rebound guy ;)

Dada, I have no idea what is wrong with me! I went to the old cafe where we use to meet at lunch time and I see him there with another girl. I mean I shouldnt of went there but my body made me. Its like I guess I really needed to see that he was moved on and doing okay. There is still a lot of feelings and connections but the best thing is letting go. They always say that if you truely loved someone you should be able to let them go. I am doing good not calling him or trying to fix things. What does TBH mean? Today I am feeling sad but not crying anymore. I skipped class today, needed a moment alone. I think I need to rediscover who I am and stuff. All my friends tell me to get over it but for me it takes some time and even more when we were so close like that.

I think the doctors need to come up with a vaccine that makes you immuine to men and heartbreak!

TBH = To be honest.

And really, don't let one asshole get you bent up for a while. You're still young enough to go out and have a lot of fun!
