I mean really, what the hell? This **** isn't supposed to happen, especially not here of all places. I personally thought it was illegal up til now. On top of that, it's a record. Two years in a row this crap has been going on. For lack of better words, I am outraged.

That's snow. It hasn't laid or anything yet so I can't post better pictures but yes, snow, on the Gulf Coast of Texas, where we're lucky to have 3 seasons and Winter is an after thought of maybe a week or two of "It's gonna be chilly out today."

For 21 years it had never snowed here and then last year it snowed for the first time, here, in my entire life time. And now it's starting it up again. On December 4th at that! Earliest recorded snowfall in this region, ever. Set another record by snowing in two consecutive years.

Oi vey, the world must be ending. It was nice knowing ya'll.

I'll be waiting by the window til I see enough to build a snow man. But I won't enjoy it!!

Hey its snow, I know exactly how you feel, living in Southern California I've never seen it snow either and about 5-6 years back it snowed (by our standards)! It was awesome and it was the coldest day I've ever experienced :D

Enjoy your snow, and send me some.lol.

We're getting colder winters and more snow too.

I chalk it up to global warming.

Lol, I've been laughing at everyone all day. The entire campus is walking around in a happy daze because half the fish have never seen snow before. People were examining the snowflakes on their sleeve in awe.

Having lived quite a ways north for years now it amuses me to no end.

Last year was crazier though. I have pictures of Summer standing in the snow.

It is 25 degrees out right now, at 3:30 in the afternoon. We're so lucky it hasn't snowed yet, because it would be sticking... It's so cold and I don't like it :-( I'm ready for the global warming to kick in...

Cry me a river Pardner.....

That isn't snow.

This is snow:

You must understand though... houston is practically sub-tropic. Anything below 70 makes everyone wear parkas. :rofl1: It's very bizarre to have even a snowflake ever (I hadn't seen snow until I was 10 or 11), let alone this early in the year.

Oh I know Laurelin. I just had to give him a bad time. It must be very odd indeed to see snow there. Only I don't detect any snow in that picture. :rofl1: Maybe there will be more to come.

OMG, seriously! They were forcasting 1/2 to 1 inch of snow, and one school announced it was closing early today before it even started snowing! One of my coworkers saw a few snowflakes this morning and said that she wasn't going to be able to drive into work with such dangerous conditions. Plus I've had NO LESS than SIX people tell me to leave my faucets running (not dripping, RUNNING) tonight because it's going to get below freezing.

Guess it's better than my old roommate who thought "freezing" meant anything below 40 degrees.

That's hilarious Lizzybeth. You don't have to leave your faucets dripping unless you don't have any heat in the house. ROFLOL. I don't think they ever close the schools around here and we get tons of snow, where there's a high wall along side the highway where the plows push it up. Of course, down there I don't expect them to have the equipment if it does pile up.

It snowed lightly most of today here and it was a balmy 24 degrees when I took my walk. It's suppose to be getting back down into the single digits like it was the past few days and even below zero next week. Brrr.

That's a really pretty picture Mandy.
