...

No, I'm sorry. I can't muster up the slightest bit of sympathy. It's been in the single digits for the last two days, today it got up to a whopping 24 degrees for a few hours and now the temps have dropped again with the sun. And the side streets are sheets of ice from the snow the other day.

Seriously, MandyPug and Dober, you suck! I SO would love that much snow! Haha.
These two would agree with you. They sure have fun in it.

Would you like to shovel/snow blower this much snow? It's too much work, trust me.

(these are last year's pictures...don't have so much yet)

Oh it's there. See all that white stuff dotting against the fence? That's snow!

And it's in the wrong place!
Okay...I went back to take another look. I do see some white things. That must be the snow. Okay...it's been a few hours since you posted that. How is it looking now? It is indeed in the wrong place. Must be that global warming thing their trying to tell us all the time. :rofl1:

I mean really, what the hell? This **** isn't supposed to happen, especially not here of all places. I personally thought it was illegal up til now. On top of that, it's a record. Two years in a row this crap has been going on. For lack of better words, I am outraged.

That's snow. It hasn't laid or anything yet so I can't post better pictures but yes, snow, on the Gulf Coast of Texas, where we're lucky to have 3 seasons and Winter is an after thought of maybe a week or two of "It's gonna be chilly out today."

For 21 years it had never snowed here and then last year it snowed for the first time, here, in my entire life time. And now it's starting it up again. On December 4th at that! Earliest recorded snowfall in this region, ever. Set another record by snowing in two consecutive years.

Oi vey, the world must be ending. It was nice knowing ya'll.

I'll be waiting by the window til I see enough to build a snow man. But I won't enjoy it!!
It's more snow than we have had here in my area of Canada, we have set records for no snow.... LOL

Wellllll....technically it's gone, physically. It's still there in spirit though, and it forgot to take the cold with it.

It's past my Pugs' heads now... I had to shovel the grass in my backyard just so they could walk out there let alone go pee... I wouldn't wanna pee outside either, it'd be bloody could on the hoohaw!

These are last year's pics. The snow is just from about a 4-5 house span on the road only. They didn't plow the bloody streets for god knows how long and there's a dip right out of the drive way of my house that was about 2 feet down with snow and another foot on top. I drive a sunfire... You do the math... I spent more time digging my car out than at school for a good week and a half! They didn't cancel school either... I haven't had a snow day in 7 years no matter the windchill (could be -55C most mornings), snow, ice, or storms...

Well, we had our hour of blizzard conditions. :p

I went into Toys R Us getting nasty, cold rain on me and came out to white flakes blowing everywhere. It probably would've stuck better if we hadn't of gotten rain for a week prior to this and the temps just aren't cold enough to freeze that on the ground (and least not yet). So this year's snow was nothing compared to the real stuff we got last year. Oh, and of course it had to happen at 10 o'clock at night so many kids missed it. But then again, that's more than southeastern Louisiana would've ever expected!

Here is the snow we got in Houston. Enough to make a large snowman, but, like some of the snow on the deck, he got eaten and beaten up by a kid and dogs. Dogs are working on the frozen stuff now..

This is supposed to be the earliest Houston has ever gotten snow.

Great pictures! WOW!

I'm hoping for a milder snow fall this winter. It's been heavy, heavy, heavy the last two years. They say it should be less. What I'd like to know is...how do "they" know? LOL. The trouble with so much snow is that it's so much work and expense. The roof has to get shoveled, sometimes 2-3 times during the winter. My 500 or 600 ft. driveway needs to be plowed more, at a dollar a minute. LOL. I have to shovel my paths, which are rather long...one to the garage, one to the propane tank, one to the satelite dish, one for the dogs to go under the trees to their potty spot. Chulita doesn't like it when the snow reaches her belly so the princess needs to have a clear path. So, while a little snow is fun, too much is just a pain in the arse.

We've got snow today, but it's supposed to be back up in the mid-upper 50s in a few days. That's East Tennessee. If you don't like the weather, just wait, it'll change.

And it hasn't been snowing for 24 hours yet and it's still coming down, we have whiteout conditions.

I'm going in the hot tub now...
