Hello All. I’ve been “secretly” visiting this site for a few months now and decided it was about time I registered! We’re dog lovers, living in South West London (UK) and have been anxiously holding out for a dog for the last five years. I’m originally from South Africa and my other half (Scotty) is from New Zealand. After a lot of hard work and sacrifice, our careers and home life now give us the ideal opportunity to get our long awaited dog !
We put our name down with a breeder (after endless research and searching) a month ago and we’re off to visit our puppy for the first time today !!!
She’s a chocolate brown Labrador who we’ve christened “Milo” ! I was thrilled to see there is another Milo on the forum albeit a little disappointed that our name wasn’t as unique as I originally thought !
We’ll be taking lots of snaps this afternoon and will update our website with the shots so you can all meet Milo. I wanted to thank you all (esp. the regular posters who offer so much sound and impartial advice) for contributing to this forum. I’ve learnt so much and we’re visiting our puppy today armed with all your pointers on how to choose the right one.
