Well, I'm in SC now, and hoping to make it a permanent visit. I will have to return to NJ for a brief time to finish up some things and get the rest of my stuff.
Hey we could always have a southeastern meetup...

Whoops... going to make a thread now...

carry on with your thread ;)

I'm in! I live on Long Island.

Pennsylvania wouldn't be bad, or southern NY, unless those really north people want to argue the midatlanticers already HAVE a meetup, and want to do it in NY or closer to connecticut or Mass. I also think the closer to the coast is better, for some reason. not ON the coast or anything...just not all the way to the west.
I was originally thinking somewhere in northern NY might be good to try and include northern ppl but a lot of PA ppl have shown interest since they dont seem to be included in the other east coast group. I think we need a better idea of who will really come, how far they are willing to go, and where they live in order to make a determination of where it should be.

So if everyone could post those few things, it would be great... I will go first.

I live in NYC
I would be willing to travel 2.5-3 hours in either direction.
and I would def. want to do it.

Well it depends... are we supposed to bring our dogs or not?

if we are... then we can't travel too far since

A) Belle gets carsick

and

B) there isn't a lot of room for them with Hannahs carseat in there.

Without them? We would travel probably a couple of hours

Sparks, if you want to bring the dogs you're welcome to, but you definately don't HAVE to. I know some people who have aggressive or shy dogs wouldn't, or just don't want the hassle of dragging a bunch of drooling goons halfway across the planet for a day trip.

Soooo i live in Long Island.
I'm willing to travel like 4 hours, any direction.
I can't say i'm definately coming, but i would really like to. If i'm definately coming depends on where/when it is. I'll leave it at "probably will be coming".

Also, when do you guys want to do it? April or May? sooner, later?

I'm near Burlington, Vermont and would be willing to do about 3 hours in any direction (although I'm guessing "south" would be the only answer there). I'll put myself in as a "possibly". It would depend on the situation, and obviously the day. I couldn't do something like a dog park meet-up, because Meg would be miserable.

In probably won't have a dog with me, and if I do it'll me Mollie.
I'll be able to make it depending on where it is, I'm already going on two pretty big trips and I think my mom's patience with me is wearing thin :D

If a lot of people aren't bringing dogs (not sure how many are or aren't), but we could still do a get together of some sort.

Knoebels (largest free admission park in America) is about 20 minutes from me. It's a nice, laid back, woodsey (lol) type place and it's got fun rides and stuff. I do believe that dogs are allowed as well, but it wouldn't be anything like an off-leash park...

If memory serves me right Lancaster is about a 6-7 hr drive for me lol, or is that Scranton??? Depending on the where and when, maybe some of us Canadians could put a car load together and make the trip............

Come on, Canadians! If some of you are in on it, perhaps that will drag the event further north!

i was thinking we should go north a bit... since a lot of people seem to want to come who are further north and those more southern are participating in the other meetup.

I <3 Knoebels. I haven't been there in years!
That should be a crime! They've put in a bunch of new rides, and a bald eagle exhibit with eagles that were injured and not able to be released, and a food court, and a new coaster...I love that place. :D
Were you there since they put in the Sklooosh?

NY isn't that far. And we Canadians are used to driving long distances, even within our own provinces. Hey I am planning on driving to a concert in NY for the night this summer, so I likely could be convinced to drive for a chaz meet up..:D

Also this spring I am driving down to KY if anyone is on the way and wants to meet up?
