New Year, New Dog

So I adopted a new dog today. I've had her for a week as a foster, but we signed the paperwork this morning to make everything official. She was the first adoption of 2016 at the rescue I volunteer at.

She is a 9 month-old tiny heeler-type-thing that weighs about 23 pounds. Her and Fable get along very well and she seems to be fitting in nicely. She's very outgoing with people and loves to meet other dogs- definitely a fun and spunky little pup.

For now she is nameless, but hopefully I'll fix that soon enough.

Thanks everyone! Official name now is CYPRESS! She's such a fabulous little pup. Her toy drive is starting to come out, which is really exciting for me because I'd love to get her started in disc. I've always thought it'd be cool to have a frisbee dog, especially since Ultimate is basically my favorite thing ever.

I get so many comments when I walk them together about how much they look alike and what a great pair they are together (which they are!). Also a lot of people asking me if she's Fable's puppy But they're both my pretty girls and definitely make quite the duo!
