Welcome Becca and family! And thank you so much for taking a hurt, homeless cat into your heart.

I hope you'll post some photos of Princess in the Picture Gallery; I've never seen a short-haired Chow before - only clipped ones! :D

Until Princess I didnt know there was such a thing, actually I think they are called smooth haired chows. My husband use to raise chows, this is my first one so I'm learning. They dont get the long lions mane. She is all black with a touch of silver on the tail and rump. For the longest time people would look at her and think she was a lab until they'd see her black tongue. She is just now starting to fill out and get that broad muscular look. I will try to get a good picture of her to post. With her being all black its hard to get one that doesnt just look like a black blob with eyes.

Hi everyone,
I am new so please be gentle with me while I learn the ropes.
I am a single mum with an 11 year old son and 4 german shepherds.
I would love to show you pics of them but not sure how to.
Can someone help me out with this?

Oh, Leanne! I'd love to see your Shepherds. I love them. Gorgeous, wonderful, intelligent, magnificent dogs with an overdeveloped sense of responsibility and a quirky sense of humor.

If you'll click on Dog Pictures at the top of the Forum page, it will take you to the picture galleries. You'll find "upload" on the bar and it's pretty easy to follow your nose through the instructions. You do need to have your photos loaded into some sort of photo album program, whether it's on your computer or on the net. The only thing I had trouble with initially was getting my photos to the acceptable size.
