New from Iowa

Hey everyone, just found this forum and thought I would say hi. My husband and I are new owners of a very sweet male red doberman. He is now 4 months old, and getting VERY big. His name is Leonidas, Leo for short. He has a kitty brother and sister that he LOVES to play with! Here are a few pics.

I'm here in Ames, and share my life with two red dobes and a welsh corgi...

Ada would say hi too, but she's too busy being chased by the dobes...

I am actually not in Ames, but I am about 45 minutes north and make trips to Ames every couple weeks (well, I used to anyways, havent been down to have a playdate in a LONG while)

Mayasmydobe are you around webstercity then? We should defiantly have a play date. Leo would love it! We have been house hunting north of Ames.

Sizzle have you ever been on Dobermantalk forum? You are the third owner of a red male named ronin I have met. It's weird we were going to name Leo that as well.....

Wow, apparently the reason there are very few red Dobes around the rest of the country is because they are all up hiding in Iowa!

I know it's crazy, I joined dobermantalk a while back and there wasn't one person from iowa I dont think. I come here and I meet 2 in the first 10 minutes, and they live right by me. HA! :lol-sign:

If you want to meet us, Sunday Jennifer (mayasmydobe) and I are going to be at the Ames dog park at noon, we'll have Maya, Ilsa, Ronin, and Ada all there!

Doberman Mommy, do you know where the dog park is? The one on Duff a little south of Target?

ETA- I would bring Fancy (the white min. poodle in my sig) but somehow, I think she would HATE it, lol. She's such a lazy little pooch!

Yeah that would be great, Leo's never met another Doberman. I didn't even know there was a dog park over there, I'm sure we can find it.

Oh I doubt you could find it if you were looking for it. It's Really well hidden.
If you want, Sizzle and I could meet you at the target parking lot at noon and you could follow us there.
