Finally got some good shots of Lexi, the newest foster. I have been harassed on facebook for them, so with the morning off, I figured it was a good time.
(ahem, these are for you, Shaylee!)
Lexi is a 2 y/o Pit x Sighthouind mix from a shelter in Yonkers, NY. She was originally pulled as a SD candidate for a program that uses rescue pitties in the area, but washed out. She stayed with a friend for about a year, and I took her from her over the weekend to place her in an active pet home. She's a pretty fun and good dog in the house, despite some over excitement/barrier aggression/cat aggression... If she were to calm down and focus some of her energy into appropriate toy play and handle focus while she was here, I would consider keeping her. But as of right now, she's not what I'm looking for in NextDog, so she is available to the right home. : )
(these are all raw because lazy)
Let's do this.
