New Addition to the Chaz Family!

I had my heart set on a Merley Monster and you guys all did a wonderful job of not talking me out of adopting one but the shelter decided to adopt him to someone else who could come look at him while I was working over the weekend. I am sad, but I hope Dre got himself a stellar home.

So, there I was Merle Monster-less... and I saw Aussie puppies..... Aussies being SUCH the jump from Border Collies I went to go look at them and ended up with:

Not one but two Aussies. Pictures forthcoming. I need to learn to NOT listen to my eight year old. What does he know? He's overjoyed though.

Oh, I don't know about that. O'Reilly was EXTREMELY serious, and one of the best watchdogs ever - even though he was blind. Not afraid of anything, either. He knew how to have fun, but could switch to dead serious in a heartbeat.

But I've yet to see a creature who totally threw himself into the sheer joy of living the way O'Reilly did

Maxy, phoenix has experience raising littermates at the same time - River and Shye are brothers, they turned out pretty good.

Well . . . . my mother had a cat, C.J., short for Crapper John (he had a slight bowel problem until we discovered he liked buttermilk, which cleared it up, lol), and then I brought home this little blind Aussie pup, who seemingly used radar to go everywhere at warp speed, so there it was [Radar] O'Reilly
