Try this. (Please ignore the gash on my thumb, a JRT and me did not agree)

Take one bag of sour skittles and dump in a short(Yes short not shot) glass, Put hot water in the glass just deep enough to cover the skittles, stir until the color coating is off the skittles and they have turn very pale. Eat the pale skittles as they taste fine, once just the juice is left, fill the glass halfway with cold Mountain Dew.

Enjoy.

Necho's response kinda freaks me out but other than that, I think this idea is worth a shot. :D

Necho - is that the kind of love that a man can share a Bud Light...or "me love you long time" kind of love? :D

Looks good, I'm gonna try it, I like sugar!

By far the best response in this thread. LOL

I just knew you guys would like it.

And hey, it's only a bag of skittles and a 1/4 can of MD, not too much sugar there.
It's not that I don't like sugar. I'm a sugarholic.

But that sludgy brown fluid with bits floating in it... *barf*.

My sugary inventions include:

-dipping chocolate chip cookies in chocolate frosting (a la chips and salsa - scoop, bite, scoop, bite)
-chocolate cake in a mug, made with chocolate milk instead of regular milk, chocolate milk powder and topped with chocolate skyr (Icelandic yogurty thing)
-I can't take credit for this, but just saw a recipe for chocolate chip, banana, marshmellow sandwiches with cinnamon buttered bread, toasted

Buy a little bag full of 5 cent candies, some nerds and skittles and a Slurpee from 7-11, mix 'em all up and enjoy! Most of the 5 cent candies dissolve after a bit and then you're left with a plethora of goodies to chew on at the bottom of your drink. Outstanding!

But I suppose if you're not a fan of chunky drinks, scob's is right up your alley. :p

I was going to suggest that! I used to put gummy candies in my slurpees as a kid. They get all cold and hard, but smushy on the outside. Awesome.
