As some of u know I have a pit at home me and my b-friend love him and we are always taking care of him:)

We live in the same house with his 2 brothers (anthony, and chris)and anthony's g-friend. anthony and his g-friend have a small do everything is fine between his g-friend and the dog but when she is not around anthony is always screaming at the poor dog and when the dog barks he’s always telling him to shut up:mad:

and I don’t even want to think what he does when no one is looking:( .

I've had told him to stop doing what he does but he just doesn’t listen even my b-friend told him and he doesn’t care. I feel like calling the ASPCA on him I don’t know what to do
Please help me!!

Does he just yell or are you sure he does more?

I yell at Tucker and Pixie. ANd yes I do yell shut up sometimes when their barking at something outside. Some dogs also can be jumpy when yelled at just cause it shocks them. It doesent mean anyone has ever laid a hand on them it just means their sensitive.

But if your sure there's more to it then just yelling I would do something. But make sure you have proof.

Usually dogs don't know what words mean. They do know tones and the tones of your voice are what convey your meanings. I tell my own pit mix what a little piece of work he is, how he's a "bad, bad dog!" but it's all said in a happy tone which makes him wag his tail and "agree" with me that he's a bad, bad dog! ;)

Was it all in agreement when you moved in together how the dog would be treated?

If not, then i think a house meeting needs to be called and rules need to be laid out about HOW your dog is to be treated (both in tones of voice, who shall discipline, and what rules the dog is to follow) out by everyone all the time. If the brother can not keep his word, then he has to forfeit something because what he is doing, whether he intends it or not, is abusive and should be stopped now.

Is your boyfriend older or younger than his brother? Either way he will need to take the enforcement of how the dog is to eb treated in his own hands... not you, since this is not your brother.

Good luck

Oh, they do so understand!

Sounds like your boyfriend needs to have a sit-down with Anthony and tell him how dogs are going to be treated . . . and I'd sure try not to leave your dog alone with Anthony if it can be avoided at all!

You may need to start leaving your dog in your room when you're gone. Give him a bed and plenty of toys so he knows he's not being punished.

Maybe it is time to have a talk with the gf, and let her know how the dog is treated when she is not around.

If you think they are hurting their dog report it..

tell him in a serious tone you are going to report it and just walk away. Don't argue or whine at him about it, he won't take you seriously.

Do it!

This is no way for people nor dogs to live !!! Dogs are very aware of their surroundings .... your dog should not be exposted to this. Either they or you move out !
