The husband is going back to Ohio that weekend and I am going to be bored. I'm willing to travel 2ish hours one way.....Anyone want to meet up and do something fun?

I can prob meet afternoon-ish on the 16th. I wouldn't mind going dog-free otherwise I'd bring one of my Mom's girls who is impossible to tire out.

I can go dog free for a few hours, but I don't like to leave him locked up for more than 4 hours on the weekend if it can be avoided.

We could do part of the AT that runs through the NY/CT border if you want to get the dogs out?

Yeah, I actually meant the AT anywhere where it is close to the NY/CT border which is part of NY & All of CT.
We could also do other trails. I was just thinking hiking to tire out the dogs and the AT would probably offer some of the better views.
ETA: check the weather? Maybe hit a lake or river with them?

Let's tentatively plan for Macedonia SP and when we get closer tweak it depending on weather? Or the Housatonic Meadows SP looks like it could be fun

Boston: How far are you from the presidentials in NH? We could plan another hike for that area. I know one particular one that is easy but long and has a ghost story to go with it.

This week just Sunday, but you guys can meet up Sat & maybe we can plan a diff day? The SO is going to be exhausted anyway. He'll be in VT all day Sat and won't get home until 2am Sunday anyway.
