Charlotte is 2.5 ish hours from me but not un-doable. Do need a date though since I'll have to request it off.
lol, it's this weekend. Tomorrow's the last day. I would have posted earlier as a reminder, but my laptop was pooped out.

I'm planning on going. I'm about 2ish hours from Charlotte, and I can go anywhere. I'm going to need to hop off and go take care of the pooches and go to bed soon, but I can PM my cell # to someone if there's someone willing to give me a buzz or text whenever we get something finalized. I'm on Verizon.

Does anyone know if they allow non-participating spectator dogs, on leash obviously? I'd really like to take Jag and Chester with me because a) Chester's my project dog and I really want to do agility with him, so I'd like to get him exposed to the atmosphere (and work on his confidence at the same time) without the stress of competition, and b) I don't have anyone in the area who can take care of them, or at least not to the point where I won't feel bad leaving them all day if I can help it (it'd be the bare necessities).

Somehow I don't think we're all talking about the same thing.

Whooooooooooooooops, my bad. I was mixing this thread up with another thread about the AKC Agility Championship in Concord. For some reason or another I was thinking they titled it an NC Meetup to go along with the Agility Championships.

Soooooooooooooooooooooo......*ahem*............anybody going to the agility championships tomorrow??? :ninja:

I'm fine with just a people meet up, since I have my threads straightened out now.....*cough* (I told you I was losing it today)

:dunno:

I think it would be fun if people can bring dogs. I could bring Morgan or maybe Tyr. They don't always play well with other dogs but if they don't want to play, they can still be near other dogs without a problem.

Jag does fine with other dogs, but Chester can only handle one new dog at a time, and he does NOT like large dogs. So far he's only come across one larger dog that he liked, and that was a BC mix. Otherwise he's absolutely terrified, and if he's cornered with either jump into my arms, or, if that's not possible, snarl. It's a work in progress, but I don't like taking him anywhere where there will be larger dogs without an easy way to distract him and/or take him out to cool down and regroup.

I'd love to come to the NC meet... bringing Kona wouldn't be an issue, but me having a ride would be. I'm a good ways from everyone.....Rob would be willing to drive me to it as well, but it would have to be on a day he doesn't work. (Some saturdays/every sunday).

However, if we could fix my ride issue, I'd love to come. Kona would too!

Izzy loves the car so she can come anywhere if we decide to bring dogs. Again, just let me know where/when :) Oh, just not the weekend of the 18th as my ride will be in NY (Unless someone wants to get me lol)
