No no puppy. :p. however I am kind of bored so I thought I'd ask. I pretty much suck at naming animals. Most we've had have been named previously or I pick a super common name (erg Nikki and Mia). I like Mia's name don't get me wrong but I want something more unique. I've been brainstorming so I'd have a list to go into it with. Mia ... I had no girl names picked out. I do have some names I like but none I'm in love with. Or the ones I love I know a dog named that already (Ex kota or shamus). I know it shouldn't matter if someone else (particularly at the agility school) has a dog named the same thing but I'd prefer not to. We already have two young female tervs named Bella for example. It gets confusing when there's multiples.

So I am looking for male names that are 1-2 syllables long (or can be shortened), easy to call out, not as common as Mia, and that's about it. I like people names but I also like word names some too as long as its not too strange. I don't want it to sound too weird when said next to Mia and summers names.

Frank. Lol idk, I had a list of names for future boys (I'm planning for my next dog to be a boy) but I can't find it now. I'll post more when I find it!

I was looking through my list but I don't really like any of them. I'm sure on e the dog gets here it will be easier but I was totally off guard for Mia.

Here's some of them:
Pippin (already know one)
Roo (too common?)
Flynn (saving for another breed maybe)
Bran (nerd)
Link (meh)
Fleet (too close to friends name)
Micah (already know one)
Levi
Otto (already know one but he's cool enough I'd name my dog after him)
Tug (know one)
Sully

I really like Flynn and Levi! I feel like they're unique enough but not "weird" ya know? And roll off the tongue easily...

If there's one thing I hate about Jackson's name is that it's just
Kinda... Long. I wind up calling him Jax quite a bit as its just easier. Still can't picture him named anything else though but next dog that will definitely come into play.

Oh and I love Sully too. It's one of those named I've always liked (well, Sullivan and shortened to Sully) but not sure i would ever name one of MY dogs but I do really like it.

Yes sully would be short for Sullivan. I have the same problem though. Lots of names I really like but I can't see myself calling my own dog that.

Gah, names. Honestly I am in the same boat as you. I have a long list of names, which are mainly boy names. What if its a girl puppy. I am pretty sure puppy wont have a name until its home and we get a feel for its personality, heck Mitsu did not have a name for over a week. Well she had several names until we decided on one lol.

I have quite a few possible boy names picked out for my next puppy and future dogs. On one hand I'm glad I probably won't have another female for a little while at least... girl names are hard!

I love names. I love coming up with names! I have a list for future pets. Some registered names and call names. A little bit of everything.

I like Pip/Pippin. I had a foster that I named Pip and occasionally called him Pippin.

I don't like Brandon but I do like it shortened to Bran. ;)

A couple of my personal favorite male names, hopefully without going overboard with too many...

Cecil
Drover
Dublin
Hawthorne
Killian
Maverick
Walker
Westley
Atom
Bronco
Banjo
D-Con - actually saving this for a cat. :p
Denali
Dillinger
Rawhide
Renegade
Rugby
Shakespeare

I'll stop now.
