Hi everyone!
I love dogs very much (although I currently do not have a dog)! And I'm doing a little art - portrait sculptures of dogs. I am pleased to show you some of my work. Each sculpture done by hand and is an original One of a Kind.
Polymer Clay, in scale 1:10 or 1:5 (depending on the breed). Husky and dalmatian about 3 inches tall (including the head):

Wool (Needle felted), size between 2.5" - 4" in height (depending on the breed). Dachshund:

And this work are more like caricature =) Jack Russell Terrier, needle felted too

You do lovely lovely work. I wish you all the luck in the world but I don't think your going to need it. Felt work fascinates me too.

Those are really awesome! You might try marketing the polymer clay ones towards dollhouse miniaturists too. They typically buy stuff in one inch scale. I love your needle felted dogs.

Your dalmatian lives and breathes. ...nice nice work. Full of personality.
I put you on my facebook page. Felted dogs go for a great deal at our ART UNLEASHED auction for our Humane Society. A very big deal here. I have no doubt you will do well with this quality of work.

smkie, thank you very very much! But the fact is that all my works are made to order. I never have finished works available. If it does not matter, could you please explain to me what this auction? Where can I place the pictures of my works for everyone to see?
SarahHound, thanks! :)

I was comparing your work to the felted dogs that are donated to our auction. This is put on for our Humane Society No Kill Shelter and Non Profit Clinic here in Kansas City. THere is an artist that donates felted dogs that go for about your pricing, and I think yours are every bit = if not better. There are collectors out there, I would just make sure to get your pics in as many places as you can. Etsy is great...I know there are a few more like that, I will inquire. You might want to get some pieces that you could put in a gallery. WE have one shop here where I could do that, have a few pieces to sell but at the same time could put "Custom work available" which is all anyone wants anyway, there own dog. At least that is my experience.

I really like that you came back and discussed your work with us. So many drop one thread, their link and are gone. This is a delightful group who cheer each other on and there is a surprising amount of talent here and experience for selling on Etsy too.
One tip for Etsy is to not post everything at once, but to do one, the next day, another and so on so that your stuff will be brought up more often.

Do you have an artist coalition where you are?
