Sierra has her moments of energy, but most of the time she's just LAZY! First thing in the morning when we open her crate? She stays where she is fast asleep and we have to practically DRAG her out for a pee.

The evenings are passed like this:
She lays around in the livingroom.

She lays on the rug at the door.

She lays in the kitchen:

She lays in her crate:

And in between changing comfy places to lay around she *may* pick up a toy to play for a minute or two. It's funny that she's so LAZY! I thought we'd be working to keep up with her, but I don't mind!

she's so cute.

i wish milo would sleep. It's impossible to get a picture of him sleeping, because he only sleeps if he's alone or i'm asleep/laying down.

actually I was thinking about it and Sierra really has two speeds. On and off. Either she's GOGOGOGO around the apartment, or running around outside, or she's crashed somewhere sleeping.

The "off" times just outweigh the "on" times. Which I guess makes sense since she needs to build up the energy to run around like a maniac :)

I'll trade you for a day! Bandit will sit and sleep but Spanky and Miley... oh god. It's zoooom zoooom zooooooooooooooooooooooooooom!

Spanky is getting way better though. I'm so proud of him.

Toller_08: Thanks :) The collar was the first thing I picked out for her, before she was even officially ours!

Noludoru: Ummmm... no haha ;) (I had some guy randomly offer me $10 for her on a walk one day eh? Wierd)

Paige: I'm really glad she's quiet actually, I don't think I'd enjoy a super busy dog quite so much (I'm definatley not a BC person! But I admire people who are!)

I'll up him $20! LOL But really, that was pretty odd.

I'd love a dog who had MY energy level, lol. Not that Middie doesn't do a heck of a lot of lying around, but he just doesn't do quite as much as me. Oh well, he gets me off my butt and getting WAY more exercise than I normally would, so all's good.

Btw.. I love her bandanna. :) I think she needs a LOT of collars, though. :D Preferably thin (1" at most), brightly colored ones... pastels, bright colors, patterns, you name it, just LOTS of color. I bet sky blues, pale greens, pinks, purples, reds, etc would look awesome on her!

Wanna come over and help me try to convince Matt she needs more collars? I want to buy her all KINDS of collars (I've currently got my eyes on a hot pink leather one with pastel daisies, and a few over at collarmania), but he doesn't seem to think anymore than one and her walking marti are necessary.

He does however support bandannas, since his childhood dogs always wore one, so I'm working with that for now ;)

Just to cover all the bases -- she got a clear vet check, right?

What a pretty girl. My new puppy is SO MUCH MORE MELLOW than my older dog ever was and ever will be. It's a welcome break!

WOOT! A girl after my own heart. :D

Don't worry, you'll convince him. Buy her something nice for Christmas and leave it at bandannas for now.. he'll come around. After he sees how cute she looks in her many bandannas (and goodness, is she cute.. even if she had no other redeeming qualities she is one of the cutest dogs ever) and her new Christmas Collar, when you innocently point out one on collarmania that she'd look fantabulous in, he'll warm up to the idea. Then you repeat. ;) Soon he won't know WHERE that pile of collars came from! (My parents sure don't ;))

Malmo: Yep she's healthy according to the vet :) Just lazy.

Nolu: Thanks so much! I really appreciate the tips, from one collar addict to another ;)

Grady: She's the BEST snuggler ever! I love when she chooses my lap to be lazy on!

I wasn't before I got a BC but now that I have one I am. I like Bandit's energy level more then Spanky's because he is not over the top. Anyone who enjoys a dog with go outside and lazyness inside would love Bandit.

I love mellow dogs. So easy to just relaxed and hangout with.

I just love snuggly dogs. My heart girl was not a snuggler. Her only fault. Now I have 3 who fight over who gets to snuggle with me & DH. Can you say HEAVEN??? Give that gorgeous girl of yours a big kiss & a snuggle from me.

Grady: consider it done ;)

Lily: we're not really sure what's in her but she was listed as a dachshund mix, and she looks like english coonhound may explain the colouring. There's probably other things mixed in there as well.
